Task 1
1. Research Title: Impact of globalisation on the international business relations
2. Background of the research
Nowadays the impacts of globalisation are witnessed in almost every sector and business forms
one of the significant sectors that witnesses this. The current project will consider the impacts of
globalisation particularly the benefits as well as the risks that are associated with the different
joint business ventures, while entering the international markets (Lorange et al., 2018).
3. Aim
The aim of the project is to determine the different risks as well as the benefits that are related
whenever a joint venture plans to venture into the international market.
4. Objectives
ļ‚· To determine the impacts of globalisation on the business
ļ‚· To assess the benefits of joint ventures on the international market
ļ‚· To analyse the risks of the business venture in the international markets
5. Literature Review
In the words of Meyer (2017), globalisation is something that has indeed proved to be table
turners in case of the business world. The term globalisation identifies the process that are
followed by the organisations to mix up among themselves and work towards achieving a
common goal. It is obvious that there are indeed a number of risks as well as benefits, which are
associated with it. In the words of Giddens (2018), one of the greatest advantages of
globalisation is that it encourages the producers as well as the consumers to take complete
advantage of the market. Moreover, it has also been identified that in most of the cases,
globalisation reduces the competitive edge in the market and contributes greatly to the overall
enhanced growth of the sector. Hence, it can be clearly said that globalisation leads to the overall
development in terms of business as well as profit generation.
Pointing out towards the disadvantages of the process, the above advantages were greatly
contradicted by Popescu and Stoica (2015). He clearly pointed out that globalisation introduces
inequality among the wealth and the income and in certain cases, it also leads to the development
of inflation in certain places and these are some of the significant points, which should not be
forgotten. In the words of Lorange et al. (2018), that there have been a number of instances

where excessive globalisation has enhanced the unemployment rate in the places and have
threatened the social and the natural authenticity of the places. In many cases, globalisation has
brought about disastrous damage to the natural reserves, natural beauty and even the local ethnic
groups. Again, the impact of BREXIT particularly in the overall business of UK also needs to be
considered. Hence, it cannot be said that globalisation only brings benefits- like every roses, it
also has its own thorns.
6. Research methodology
The research methodology that will be followed have been described below
Steps of the methodology Process that should be adopted
Data collection methods Quantitative data collection methods
Sampling techniques Simple random sampling method
Data analysis techniques Quantitative data analysis technique
Data presentation techniques Bar charts and pie charts
Data collection techniques Survey questionnaire

7. Scope
The scope of the research identifies the exact things that will be covered in the entire research
process. The research will concentrate on the tourism sector of UK and will mainly concentrate
on determining the effects of globalisation in this particular sector. The type of joint venture that
is considered is the business partnerships and the period under consideration in 10 weeks.
8. Limitations of the research
However, steps have been taken to carry out the entire process effectively, but there are some of
the limitations that have been identified in the process, that have indeed restricted the entire
process. The time and the cost restraints are the most effective among them.
9. Overcoming limitations
In case of time constraints, it is advisable to revise the existing time schedule of the project. In
case of budget restraints, the cost can be brought down to minimum.
10. Resources and cost
Resources- computer, data, the primary, and the secondary sources of data, pdfs
