Chapter 2: Literature review
2.1 Introduction
In recent years, there are different multinational organizations present in the whole world, which
have been facing positive impacts as well as the negative impacts of the globalization. According
to Nikolova et al. (2017), it can be noted that there are many impacts of the globalization, which
helps the organization to increase their profits and revenue at the end of the financial year. It is
because it leaves a good impact on the corporate structures of the organization.
2.2 Accessing to the new market
According to Matveev et al. (2016), it can be further observed that, due to the high impact on the
corporate structure, and the global managers tend to find new strategies for assessing the new
markets. With the core help of the internet and multimedia options, the customers can connect to
the corporate members of a business from any place of the earth and this is how the business
corporations expand and access to the new markets. On the other hand, Arthurs (2018) has
further stated that, the data breaching and cybercrime has to lead the corporate structure in
confronting too many challenges at the time of interacting with the consumers.
2.3 Accessing to Labor at a cheaper rate
As stated by Ha-Brookshire (2017), in case of the multinational organizations, the corporate or
the global managers have access to the cheap labors for the core outsourcing and off shoring of
the workers in the foreign countries. On the other hand, it can be further realized that
organizations also hire employees in foreign countries because they get cheap labors than their
home country.
2.4 Accessing on the decision-making system by the global managers
According to Aalbers (2016), it can be further realized that, the managers have used various
types of IQs. The various kinds of IQs are Analytical Intelligence, Creative Intelligence,
Practical Intelligence, Cognitive intelligence, Intuitive intelligence, emotional intelligence,
networking intelligence, political intelligence and organizational intelligence. On the other hand,
Bretos and Marcuello (2017) has contradicted and stated that, social intelligence and the
organizational intelligence have been the most effective patterns and types of the intelligence

that should be acquired by the global managers for enhancing the decision-making process. With
the impact of the globalization on the corporate structure, the innovative intelligence of the
global managers have also been increased and they, thereby minimizing the costs with the help
of the core partnership formation.

According to Liang et al. (2015), it can be noted that, due to the impact of the globalization, the
corporate structure of the multinational organizations are required to pay low corporate tax rates
and they inevitably support the concept of the tax havens. However, Aguilera and Crespi-Cladera
(2016) have further contradicted that there are many countries, which do not allow the low
corporate tax rate by moving the assets offshore. These countries are like Bermuda, Switzerland
and Belize. The financial structure is also comprised of delivered information system for
ensuring all the secret corporate documents on the same channel.
2.6 Research gap
In the case of the research gap, it can be further observed that the less time allocation and less
amount of financial support have debarred the study from accepting different sources of the
study. If more time and money would be allotted, then there would be more information in this
study.

structures of the large multinational companies of the world. The impacts have been discussed
