How globalization affected your culture personally?
Globalization can be defined as the term that relates to the trading done on the international
platform. Globalization has positively affected the culture of the society. Canada's cultural
policies have evolved and adapted the changes in domestic and also in the global markets.
Globalization allows the Canadian people to acquire knowledge about other cultures and also it
helps in developing a wider understanding of the increased opportunities in relation to
international travel. It has been observed that through globalization flexibility in the labor market
has also been boosted. With the help of globalization, it is easy now to work across the world
with relative ease as it has modified the way of working of the individuals. It has brought a
drastic change in the overall living standards of the people (Hong & Cheon, 2017). But there are
many individuals also who think that the overall change in the globalization is not in favor of the
welfare of economic well-being. So, it can be said that the labor market has been more flexible
as compared to pre-globalization.
The majority of the class's generations believe that the globalization has favored more to the
people of a lower class. In the present era, advanced technology is one of the essential factors
that have brought a drastic change in the life of Canadian people and also positively affected the
economy. Due to globalization, Canada is considered as one of the interconnected countries with
the high-class technology system. I have noticed that advancement in the technology has reduced
the issue of unemployment that exists earlier in the society and it has given a wide scope to
citizens to boost their living standards. Integration of the trade in context to globalization has
also lead to positively affect the culture as now people can easily access to the resources which
are required by them. In comparison to the earlier scenario, I have analyzed that people now are
more focused on new innovative approach and this expectation of the individual has been
enhanced due to globalization. The company operating or managing the work on the global
platform has offered the wide opportunity to the people to work. Earlier, the scope of the earning
was less but now due to globalization, the scope of earning for the people of society has been
enhanced (Potrafke, 2015).
Globalization has given voice to the people from different cultures. Earlier, people have to rely
on the New York time news or BBC to create their own views and opinions. But now they have
the option to collect the diverse voices that can be considered by the different sources. It helps

the individuals to have knowledge about the other culture which assists in maintaining harmony.
So, it can be concluded that globalization is considered as the best way that has positively
enhanced the scope of the people in relation to the different culture. Also, the technology change
has positively affected the Canadian culture.
