Exploring the Complexities of Homelessness in Canada and Globalization

This essay examines the multifaceted issue of homelessness in Canada, analyzing it through the frameworks of socialism and capitalism within the context of globalization. The paper highlights the significant number of Canadians facing homelessness and the roles of various levels of government in addressing this social problem. It explores how capitalism, with its focus on ownership and wealth concentration, can exacerbate the issue by displacing farmers, traders, and small manufacturers. Furthermore, the essay discusses the impact of criminal justice regulations and the need for socialist approaches to provide opportunities, democracy, liberty, and equality. The study references existing research to provide a comprehensive understanding of the causes and potential solutions for homelessness in Canada, emphasizing the importance of understanding the lived experiences of those affected.

HOMELESSNESS IN CANADA
The most intricate social problem in the globe is homelessness, which occurs with
different factors including vague mental and physical health, family breakdown, poverty and
community. In Canada, there is large number of people who are suffering from the poverty and
homelessness, and for this condition, each level of government is responsible for the resulted
outcomes. The Homelessness Partnership Secretariat (HPS) has assessed that the number of
people facing homelessness in Canada is between 150,000 to 300,000 numbers of population.
This paper is going to explain the issue of homelessness in Canada by the perspective of the
framework of socialism and capitalism.
According to ( Pauly, Norman, Marks, & Palazzo, 2015), this study studies the
acceptance of increase hope by the people of Canada for living back the normal life instead of
suffering from no shelter. The participation of people of Canada having the experience of
homelessness in key to discourse the vagrancy can be affected by capitalism. This paper delivers
awareness into the lives of the people facing homelessness in the lanes of Canada. This article
discussed the different strategies that can be accepted to diminish this problem of not having
home and suffer the poverty. Urban development and housing are the primary needs of the
individuals, but this can be hard because of the capitalism. As capitalism, focus more on the
ownership and the wealth of the means of creation into the limited hands. In Canada, there are
large number of manufacturers having the capitalist business push out farmers, traders or small
manufacturers. This made some of the population homeless in Canada. this is the phase of
monopoly capitalism and the last level of the capitalist development ( MADDEN & MARCUSE,

2016). Further, the authors concluded that the Capitalist Firm Transactional Corporations could
solve the issues for the deliberation power that inequities in regular exist of the displaced people.
According to ( Quirouette, Frederick , Hughes, Karabanow, & Kidd, 2016), this paper
studies the conflicts that generated because of the rules and regulations made for the criminal
justice, which gives rise to the homelessness in Canada. The authors concentrated on the
socialism factors that can effect or support the homelessness. This involves interviews of the
young people facing homelessness to know their efforts for coming out of the homelessness and
directions towards the stable housing for a long period. However, Canada must grip socialism in
order to create a platform that will provide opportunity, democracy, liberty and equality. The
authors advised that laws could play a significant part in successful and seminal alterations made
in against the socialism in homelessness. More prominently, struggles with the instruction and
law that produces even before homelessness have foremost effects for the youth, who are
continuously developing in numbers, in terms of homeless population of people ( AIVALIS,
2016).
However, the survey was conducted by HPS, where they considered that there are
250,000 Canadians who are suffering from homelessness in the current year. The current number
is much greater and there are many individuals, who are living unsheltered with relatives or
friends, and are not able to be in touch or contact with the emergency shelter giving services.
