Introduction
The process that integrates and combines worldwide among companies, government and people
is globalization. Due to the communicational technology and advanced method of transportation
globalization has increased. Thus there are many other benefits related to this globalization like
for example it enable to the overall growth in the economic rate of the country, introduces many
employment opportunity among the people, raise the standard of living in a country and so on.
By the use of this process it has been identified that a multifaceted phenomenon including social,
economical, religious, legal dimension and cultural are faced. Along with this, the study would
also inculcate the research aim, objectives and questions and the findings of the study are also
supported by literature review.
Background to the Study
As per the OECD, Globalization is the term related to all sort of marketing function that
considers activities like sourcing of factor inputs, research development, production as well as
distribution and so on. Globalization also deals with the process of trading goods and services
across border; it helps to increases the level of labour migration among different countries (Hirst
et al., 2015). “Expansion of foreign direct investment” is the crucial investment that is more
focused in the global business. However global companies are more brand oriented that are
recognized through the world, their brand name identifies their quality and standard of
production (Crane et al., 2016). Globalization is the process that includes both offshoring
production and greater outsourcing. In association of Crew Clothing Company, globalization
process is been explained that is what are the factors, method and strategies are adopted by the
organisation in order to spread its business operations on wider platforms.
Research Aim
The aim of the present study is to examine the entry strategies of Crew Clothing

Research Objectives
To understand the concept of globalization
To understand the contribution of globalization as an emerging phenomenon
To analysis the optimistic and pessimistic effects of globalization
To assess the challenges of global economy faced due to globalization
Research Questions
What is the necessity of understanding the concept of globalization?
How the contribution of globalization as an emerging phenomenon can be understood?
How to analyse the optimistic and pessimistic effects of globalization?
How to assess the challenges of global economy faced due to globalization?
Rationale of the Study
Along with several benefits and advantages globalization at the same time have adverse effect on
the business and its environment. Some of the factors affecting are discussed to make the clear
impact of the condition. Issues like”energy and environment security” is the primary issues of
global agenda, confounding with the challenges of the international policy that has
disproportionate impact of global warming over nations, increasing oil price, forcing to adopt the
rapid changes. “Competing in the New Era of Globalization” with the increase of global
company in the market, the competition between the organizations is increased in the terms of
scope, speed and scale (Zhang and Ma, 2015). “Global Imbalances” some of the undeveloped
countries worries that the world is suffering from tripping point, which can only be sorted out by
the shifting of economic policy dramatic. However other countries structural factors implements
gross imbalance. Some of the factors that require continuous scanning for the growth of global
market are regular check on the operations of the business in order to ensure if the objective is
addressing or not from all the extended countries (Young, 2016). Secondly, ensuring weather the
company is overcoming with the fear of instability that the organization is facing. Thirdly, it
need to be sure whether the company is able to succeed with the facts of employment practices,
rights of wages and labour and countries environment in the increasing competition of global
market.

It has been examined that from the above issues many other issues are diversified from the
current situation of globalizations. Government transparency and accountability, lack of
employment and economic opportunities, safety and security, lack of proper education, religious
conflicts, poverty which is still near about 30%, inequality in respect to income and
discriminations, destruction of nature and so on (Beck, 2018).
Therefore, through this research it has been considered that the state of globalization has both
positive as well as negative impacts. By observing the correct factors it is important to take steps,
which will enable a stabilized market condition in the global platform.
The Scope of the Study
The scope of the study is to highlight the effects of globalization on emerging markets. Key
implications of globalisation are also taken into consideration within the study. Along with this,
it would also be discussed about the increasing level of labour migration in context of different
countries. The emergence of global brands and outsourcing and offshoring of production would
also be underpinned. Furthermore, expansion of foreign direct investment is also deciphered in
the mentioned study.
Literature Review
Concept of globalisation
Globalization is the wider concept that lays a huge impact on the overall global market. It can be
evidenced that this process indulges both social advantages as well as many damages to the
society. In a developed country, globalization is mostly adopted because of its immense benefits
like for example employment opportunity, overall economic growth and so on. With the help of
foreign investment globalization helps in overall economic growth. With respect of increase of
global business, international ideas, culture and trade are also increasing parallel.
Global economy as an emerging phenomenon
With respect of companies emerging phenomenon with the different countries in order to meet
its main objective are its political issues, frequent/ unstable rate of currency, taste and preference
of the market and so on. The change in the taste of goods and services leads in high demand of
certain goods impacting the growth of the company.

Analysis of effects of globalisation
Globalization has positive and negative aspects in that walks parallel to each other, like its
positives factors includes technology, capital flow, trade business, education and so on, whereas
the negative factors includes legal effects like political issues, any advanced technology not yet
adopted, job insecurity, price fluctuation and so on. All the above analysis is the major factors
that are responsible for the positive as well as negative factors in any operation of an
organization.
Challenges of global economy
In order to increase the sales and expand market many strategies are applied by the organizations
(Adams et al., 2017). One of the crucial factors is market penetration strategy, mainly used by an
organization to attract potential customer towards its product and services (Jin et al., 2015). This
strategy presents the minimum cost that can be charged against a particular goods and services.
However this process is adopted only to gain huge market by attracting customer and by
promoting products as much as possible (Baptista et al., 2016). This strategy is sometime leads to
less profit to the business organization.
Dependency Theory
This theory highlights the spread of capitalism market and the misuse of resources and cheap
labour. Dependency theory is applied with the respect of inward looking matters of development
as well as eye catching barriers while trading, difficulties with inward investment, promoting key
industries nationally and so on (Smith, 2018). Although, the factors that are influencing the
involvement of the state are irrespective to the corruption growth and economy are dramatically
revealed.
P2
Research Methodology
Research methodology is the process that is conducted in order to collect all the required data
and information that are essential during the time of decision making of an organization. This
methodology process instance activities such as interviews, surveys, publication research as well
as other techniques of research, whereas these research may include the information on the basis
of history and present situations of an organizations.

Research approach
Research approach is a broad assumption that consists of various procedures and plan in detailed
manner of data analysis, interpretation as well as collection. It is based on the assumption of
problems related to the research. There are technically two essential research approaches that are
data collection approach and reasoning or data analysis approach. The above mentioned
approach enables organizations to take overall decisions for the particular operations. In addition
there are two basic important research approaches that is quantitative and qualitative approach.
Bothe the approach are different in their aspects and functions.
Research design
A framework that includes method and techniques that are used by researcher by merging
various research components in an exclusive logical manner so that the problems related to the
research are handled efficiently. There are many types of research designs one of them is
descriptive design that provides the solution to the questions like what, when, who, how and
where are interrelated with the research problems. Exploratory design is the design that are
referred when there is very less or else no earlier studies that can be followed. Gaining
familiarities and insights for further investigations are the primary focus of this design.
Observational design is the designed that are concluded by comparing subjects related to the
control group, at the point when the researcher is lack of control over their experiments.
Research philosophy
The process or the methods by which the data of a particular phenomenon can be gathered, used
and analyzed are termed as research philosophy. With respect to the “Western tradition of
science” there are two crucial research philosophies namely interpretive and positivist. Whereas
positivism is based on the overall natural phenomena, relations and the studies related to their
properties. On the other hand interpretive consist of interpretation of elements by the researchers
on the basis of studies, therefore integrates various human interest related to the studies.
Data collection techniques
The crucial process of measuring and gathering of information with the established system on
variable targets are called data collection. It is the collection of information from all part of the
fields irrespective to the study that includes social science, humanity as well as physical. Some
of the data collection techniques are interviews, observations, focus groups, documents and
records, case study, oral studies and so on (Brown et al., 2015). The two major kind of data
8 | P a g e

collection methods that are commonly followed by every organization are qualitative and
quantitative methods of data collection. The method that are considering measurement
emphasizing the objective with respect of numerical, statistical and mathematical analysis
relating data collecting through surveys, questionnaires and polls by controlling pre-existing
method applying computational techniques. Whereas qualitative research instance on visual
analysis, textual and observations as well as interviews (Silverman, 2016). This process is all
about implementing work quality, however in this information are not able to be measured.
Sampling size and techniques
The sampling size is 50 that will be taken for further conduction of the study. For further
continuation of the study, mixed method encompass of primary and secondary data. These
methods will be used for the study on further basis. In this study, probable methods will be used
for primary data collection method and non-probable technique is used for secondary data
collection method.
M1, D1
Justification and critical evaluation
For this study, mixed data collection method will take into consideration. In relation to research
approach, inductive and deductive approach will be considered. The above stated approaches
will be useful for primary and secondary data collection method. These will be used for aiming
and testing theory and acquire ample information. However, the other approaches might not be
useful for conduction of the study on further basis. Along with this, positivism and interpretivism
will be implemented in the study. While the other philosophies, might not be appropriate for
collecting appropriate information from the surveys and data collection methods. Explanatory
and exploratory research design will be used in further conduction of the condition.
