1.1 Introduction to topic: Globalisation is referred to a process that supports the organisations to
integrate and interact with other organisations, agencies, people and government globally. It

the currently the UK economy is facing challenges. Thus, the impact globalisation upon the
labour need to be focused along with international trade disturbing the jobs opportunities in.

of UK.

2.0 Rational and Reasons
This research topic has been selected for developing and attaining understanding and knowledge
regarding globalisation and for monitoring the influencing areas employment and labour market
globally. Selection of the current topic is for understanding the growing trends of globalisation with the
advancement of technology and business. Globalisation for an organisation is effective is creating the
organisational value and brand image and pleasing various needs by offering opportunities of travel,
trade, and communicate. Impact of globalisation is focused in for evaluating the numbers of well
trained and qualified employees for the available jobs opportunity and to get pay and facilities
respectively. The topic is interesting and will be effective in carrying out research and for developing
knowledge developed regarding globalisation and its impacts upon UK.

3.1 Introduction
Globalization is a process facilitating integration and easy interaction among business organisations
globally(Coleman, 2016).Resulting is offering greater opportunities of investment and increasing
international trade for attaining gain competitive advantage during the process of production.
However, globalisation also has some negative impacts business organisations and the current
labour market of UK.

international business expansion for various organizations of different sector increasing overall
productivity through employee motivation. Employees are offered opportunity for garbing new
opportunities of development in term of professional by enhancement of their ability and their

3.4 Theme 2: According to Alon, et al(2016), employees of an organisation are offered with chances
for improving their knowledge, qualification and abilities by entering into a new international
market.
3.5 Theme 3: Globalisation according to Wood, et al (2016)is effective in providing opportunities of
development together with some challenges and risk for the existing workforce as it is become
a barriers for the employees to attain their professional growth. Lack of communication,
technology knowledge, high competition and internal conflicts, etc are some of the common
challenges faced employees of UK due to globalisation. Matching with the international market
requirement among the employees become challenging.
3.6 Relationship between themes: According to Alon, et al(2016) business adopting globalization
needs to consider different business strategies for adopting new changes for improve the current
skills of the employees for competing the current international market. As per (), the organization
in the global market must emphasis on internal source of recruitment for offering employees with
opportunities of professional development.
3.7 Hypothesis: Globalisation has contributed positively while enhancing its overall performance of
an organisation in terms of operations along with the improvement of economic conditions with
foreign direct investments. Globalisation will be effective in strengthening current financial
position of organisation and other functions.

What your areas of research will cover:
1. Philosophy: For the current study, the philosophy of positivism is taken into consideration rather
than interpretivism . The positivism is effective in reflecting the objective nature the topic selected for
conducting research. All the information collected for the research become objectives and data are
collected and reviewed considering the topic for research.
2. Purpose: The main purpose of the current project business to identify the impact of globalisation
upon the labour market of UK and on different business functions. The appropriate techniques and
research methods will be used for data collecting and for accomplishing research project.
3. Methods: For collecting data for the research project both qualitative and qualitative data collection
methods has been used in the project for accurate and precise.
4. Logic & Approach: The approach offers guidance to researcher for effective data collection,
interpretation and data analysing. The approaches of research are effective in drawing research
hypothesis for deductive and inductive. In this research, deductive approach is used for testing
hypothesis as deductive approach concentrate on evaluating hypothesis and the same utilising for
analysing aims and purposes for study.
5. Data sources: For conducting the research project data are to be collected from different sources
using qualitative and quantitative approaches. In case of quantitative method of data collections
deductive approach is applied and in qualitative strategy inductive approach is used. In the present
project, quantitative research for focussing to understanding.
6. Data collection Strategy: The data collection is required for carrying out research and for getting
conclusions. Primary and secondary data collections can be used for collecting information regarding

7. Population, Sampling and Sample size: Sampling technique is also important for carrying out the
overall survey, deciding the sample size considering the population very significant activity.
Determination of Sample size is considered through observations to collect respondents. In the
present project, sample size of 40 respondents is selected for conducting survey through
questionnaire.
8. Analysis methods: For the current study, all the collected data from various sources. The
collected data are in form of tables and graphs. Numerical information are collected and reflected in
MS-excel and accordingly analysed and interpretation. Information from the questionnaire is plotted
using graph with the help of spreadsheet.
9. Ethics, Limitations of research methods: During the research, various limitation and issues can
arise. Confidentiality is linked with project and for keep the ethical considered in lawful manner. The
main restrictions in the research regarding limitation and time resources for collecting information
through questionnaires. Additionally, information can even be biased while collecting them from
respondent.
