Introduction
The development of a nation or a country is linked with the proper functioning of the
multinational organizations. The multinational organizations are the backbone of the
country or the nation as most of the financial stability of the region is supported by these
MNC’s. This report focuses on the development of a project management plan by
introducing the aims, timeframes and objectives of the project. This report also
highlights the cost, communication, scope, resources, risk and quality involved during
the production of the project management plan. This report provides a work breakdown
structure and Gantt chart which describes the timeframes that are required for the
completion of different stages of the project. This report also highlights the evaluation of
the different research methods that are applied during the conduction of the research
paper in order to meet the project objectives and aims. This report also provides the
information regarding the appropriate tools that are used during the research and
analyze accordingly to produce certain suitable recommendations for a meaningful
conclusion. This report finally highlights the value of project management to meet the
stated objectives in order to support own performance and learning.
Background of the Company
Globe International Ltd. is one of the leading specialist distributor and producer in
purpose built footwear, skateboard hard goods and apparels. It was founded by three
brothers of Australia in 1985. The company provides its services to over 100 countries
where the business is divided into three segments namely, proprietary brands,
distributed brands and licensed brands. The operations of the company are segmented
in Australia, Europe and South and North America and are also enlisted in Australian
Stock Exchange.
Overview of the host country
Romania is one of the southeastern European countries that have dramatic coastline
and mountain scenery around the Black sea. It is the member of European Union (EU)
since 2007 and this European Union is the trading partner of Romania. The intra
community trade of Romania is helpful in representing the imports and export trades
across many countries. The lending of the inter company equity share in Romania was
estimated to about EUR 3,600 million.

This part of the report focuses on the development of a project management plan by
introducing the aims, timeframes and objectives of the project. This part also provides a
detailed explanation about the organizational structure and the control techniques that
are being used by Globe International Ltd. This part also highlights the resources list
and the costs and risks involved in the development of the project. This part lastly
highlights the preparation of the communication matrix, work breakdown structure and
Gantt chart for the project management plan.
Definition of Project and Project Management
According to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), project is defined as
“a temporary endeavour with a beginning and an end and it must be used to create a
unique service, result or product.” Project is referred as an activity for creation of unique
service or product (Schwalbe, 2015).
Project management is referred to as a method of organizing all the activities that are
related to certain project and their parts (Milosevic and Martinelli, 2016). The main
challenge of the project management is to accomplish the development of several
project objectives.

A) Project’s Deliverables
The main purpose of the project is identifying the impacts of market expansions of
Globe International Ltd in the environment, economy and society of Romania. The steps
for market expansion are evaluated in the report. The project management plan is
useful for determining the quality, communication, resource, and cost requirements for
the completion of the project.
B) Product scope
This report produces the importance of project in identifying the cost, risks, time and
quality associated in the development of the project regarding the market expansion of
Globe Internationals Ltd. It also analyzes the importance of collection of data and the
collection of quantitative data from the business analysts of Globe International Ltd as
well as from other companies of Romania for identifying the globalization impact and the
functionalities involved regarding the market expansion in Romania. The qualitative data
is collected from the managers of Globe International Ltd for analyzing the needs and
process of expansion of market of Globe International Ltd.

Organizational Structure
The matrix organizational structure is best suitable for this project as this structure
follows a reporting relationship of grids which helps in delegating the several tasks to all
the employees according to their capabilities and knowledge. The staffs need to report
to the functional managers who are responsible for helping the employees by prioritizing
the work and providing useful skill knowledge to the employees (Browning, 2016). The
information flows up and across through the organization which helps in development of
this project.

The control techniques are control chart, flow chart and quality control chart. Control
chart is used to study the method by which a process changes over time. It is used to
monitor quality in routine manager. On the other hand, flow chart refers to a diagram
that represents workflow, processes and algorithm to solve a task in step-by-step
manner. Quality control chart is measurement of the processes to determine whether
they meet expected specifications. In this project, quality control chart is used as it can
measure Cost performance Index and schedule of project effectively.

Analysis of project management processes
A) Speed of project planning process can be increased by analysing the objectives
more accurately and creating the project schedule after analysing time, costs and risks.
B) Process of importation can be done aster if execution of hew project processes can
be measured in timely manner. Automated processes can be used instead of manuals
process of data collection and more number of human and physical resources can be
added to the project.
C) Communication with the stakeholders is necessary and feedback from the
stakeholders could be taken to improve project planning.
D) Project costs can be reduced by planning the resources more effectively for each
activity. Cost estimating, cost budgeting and cost control are required to estimate and
implement the costs of the project efficiently.
E) The design of project management can be understood more easily if is written with
effective schedule and proved by supervisor.
Conclusion
It can be concluded that there the development of a project plan requires several
assessment of risks, time and cost. The development of a proper project plan is
necessary for Globe International Ltd to expand their market in the country of Romania.
The company needs to follow the matrix organizational structure in order to develop an
appropriate project plan.

Introduction
In this part, methods of collecting quantitative and qualitative data are analysed and
most appropriate method that can be used for the research is identified. Disadvantages
and advantages of interviewing and questionnaire are also discussed here.
Methods of collecting qualitative data
There are different methods for collecting qualitative data such as interviewing,
interactive methods and ethnographic approach.
Interviewing method
An interview is simply a conversation in which the respondents answer the questions.
Interview method refers to a one-on-one conversation between interviewer and
interviewee.
Interactive methods
In the interactive method, investigation is conducted through paediatric research and in
the assessment session, the responses rate is increased as well as missing data rate is
reduced (Bryman, 2017).
In this research project, interviewing method has been selected to collect qualitative
data from the respondents. Two managers from finance and operational department of
Globe International Ltd have been selected to take interview regarding effects on the
company on economic, social and environmental condition of Romania.
Qualitative data collection
1. What are the contributions of Globe International Ltd. to increase benefits of
economic, social and environmental condition of Romania?
As per finance manager, the revenue of the company is effective to contribute to the
economy of Romania. It stimulates economic growth by providing employment
opportunities and provides taxes to the government. The company buys a large
number of shares that increase country productivity and obtain increment in GDP.
Enhancement in employment rate increases social status.
According to operational manager, employability of the company reduces
unemployment rate and increase economy of Romania. Environment friendly products
that are offered by the organization are effective for reducing pollution in Romania.
2. What risks are faced by the Romania due to the operations of the company?
It has identified from the response of finance manager that demand of the people of
ROMANIA has been raising and lack of resources of Globe International Ltd. has
created risks for the country. Importing of goods from other countries has affected the
economy of this country.
