Introduction:
Gmail first developed founded in 2004 used JavaScript supported HTML (called
AJAX) to avoid the reloading of the webpage to perform different services and in process
overtook the leaders of the market (Yahoo and Microsoft) back then (Gohel, 2014). Now,
Gmail is the most extensive emailing service in the world with most active users. Hence, the
considered firm has planned to migrate their emailing services to the former from Outlook
emailing services. To achieve so the substantial need for a training module that has been
discussed below.
Gmail features:
Google mail or Gmail is an emailing service that is to be implemented in the
considered organisation offers high storage capacity than any other top emailing services
(Mohan, 2013). The labelling system for the newly implemented emailing service is also an
advantage that it holds over the earlier equipped emailing service. Gmail also offers auto-
spamming of the spam emails, unlike the outlook where it had to be done manually. The
newly implemented mailing systems offer the users with access to view the older email
threads for referencing which outlook lacked in.
Benefits for the users:
The section above discussed various features that Gmail is offering and outlook
lacked. Taking consideration of the above mentioned points following issues that the users
faced with the prior emailing service will be omitted:
The storage problem for the accounts and management departments will be nullified
because of the vast storage capacity of the newly employed emailing service to that of
the previous service.

The manual process of labelling and finding the emails for the production team
especially team leads, depending upon the projects will also be reduced after the
introduction of the considered emailing service ("Switching to Gmail from Outlook –
Google Learning Center", 2018).
The automated spamming feature of the newly equipped service will benefit all the
organisational employees as it will save a lot of time and effort.
Manual:
Different department of the firm will use the emailing service to achieve different
purposes like the management department will use it to broadcast the emails in vast numbers
while the low-level employees will use it to share information with team leaders or the
management. Hence, their requirements would differ depending on their use. So, the manual
will be developed depending on the expertise skill of the employee and the mode of operation
they will equip for the use of the service. It will consist of all the part of the services required
for the different expertise skills. However, depending on the skillset the manual will be
divided into subsections so that the effort put in understanding the manual will stay minimal.

Gmail Training Module:
The emailing service will create a new tab at the right-hand bottom corner of the
screen while composing a new email ("Gmail – Google Learning Center", 2018). The
tab will allow you to view the previous email threads for reference.
The received emails in the inbox will be divided into five general categories namely
Primary, social, promotion, updates and forums. The sections mentioned above are
arranged side by side in the inbox section.

emails will be in delivered to their respective sections.
