Report
AI Summary
This research project delves into the essential components of effective research, outlining key considerations such as topic selection, project timelines, and resource management. The report emphasizes the importance of identifying relevant research topics, evaluating existing literature, and seeking expert advice to build a strong foundation for research questions. It also explores the development and utilization of a Gantt chart for project management, detailing the activities involved in a dissertation timeline, from defining the research proposal to the final submission. The Gantt chart helps manage time effectively by assigning specific durations to each activity and ensuring a structured approach. The project also highlights the need for logical evidence, distinguishing between fact and opinion, and proper referencing to support arguments and findings. The report concludes by stressing the importance of aligning research with career goals and presenting fresh, relevant information to achieve positive results.

MAIN BODY
Question 1 What make good research
There are several considerations exist which assists to make good research. In this regard,
as per my point it can be stated that following elements helps to make good research:
Topic of the research with we are fascinated.
Development of project time frame and important research skills to undertake the topic.
Research topic must be assessed that it is achievable or not as per availability of time.
Time for starting and finishing of the project (Bruner, 2017).
Find appropriate research topic which is achievable as per financial resources that are
available.
Reasonably gain access of data as per requirement of topic
Along with this, it is essential to find specification that assists to meet with standard
performances. Furthermore, research topic also contains issues that clearly link with theory.
Hence, it helps to state research questions and topic as well (Ramsey, Willke and Sullivan,
2015).
Beside this, as per Saunders and et.al., 2016, there are several elements of research
included to gather relevant information.
Identification of most relevant and significant research topics
Evaluation of research
Recognise expert advice
Justification of point to logical evidence
Distinguish between fact and opinion
References in all sources (Norman, 2014).
With this regard, they stated that in research most relevant topic must be identify.
Furthermore, in research discussion and evaluation required that helps to became uncritical
listing and catalogues in previous research. Expertise views are also required which helps to
integrate theoretical strands and develop understanding. All ideas must be developed in
appropriate manner that support to produce desired results (Bernard, 2017).
From the both discussion, it can be stated that both lists consist of important role in whole
research study. With the help of effective research, appropriate findings could be gain in

systematic manner. Furthermore, as per Saunders and et.al., 2016, research must consider all
important references that increase positive understanding as well. With drafting literature review,
it can be said that thoughts and belief are also supported by several arguments. As per
distinguishes, it can be stated that facts and opinions are also needed. So that details provide in
successful way (Saunders, Mark and Rojon, Céline, 2016). In a logical manner, appropriate
evidence support requires throughout the research project. It helps to ensure that subjective
thought has also been developed in significant manner. Along with this, it is essential to match
career goals in systematic manner so that value created as per proposed research effectiveness.
Fresh and relevant information also provided which could be easily relate with ideas. In order to
consider effective research, positive results develop successfully (Hauber, González and Bridges,
2016).
Question 2 Development of Gantt chart
In Gantt chart of dissertation period, following activities are included which is easily
implemented in project. There are several ways in which Gantt chart helps to manage time. This
is because, it consists appropriate time for each activity which successfully develop advantages
which could be helpful in context of achieving research aim and objectives. Start and end date
consider length of action so that as per preceding activity it could be done. Furthermore, one
disadvantage is that new activity cannot be started without finishing of previous activity.
