Policy & Procedure of Goodstart Early Learning on Sustainability practices
Goodstart Early Learning to have policies which are related to the National Quality
Framework. This motivates them for constant improvement in the system of education as well as
services which are related to care of students. Goodstart Early Learning to have various quality
areas such as educational program & practice, children's health & safety and various others. They
provide high quality education as well as care to the children's by protecting them with the help of
supervision, safe environments, and various others. Policy related to recycle waste materials,
avoiding use of paper and other policies will be discussed. Their policies and procedures which are
related to sustainability and sustainable practices are discussed further in the report. The policy of
water conservation has been selected. (Policies & procedures, 2022).
Administering Medication to Children
The centre provides a form to the children which help them to understand their medication
system properly and it helps in effective and safe management. This form consist of the storage
facility, authorization received, prescribed medication by the parents and various non-prescribed
medicines.
Medicinal Conditions Management
In this policy they make sure that the children's who are facing allergies, anaphylaxis,
asthma, diabetes and various other problem, can be taken care when they are in the centre premises.
They make sure they discuss these things with the parents of the children's and make sure the
medications can be provided on time. It reduces the risk and contain training in which the action
and planning is discussed. These process is implemented with the help of practitioners, families as
well as staff of Goodstart so that children's can be supported effectively.
Child Protection
The staff of the organization make sure that children's are protected from any harm. These
harm may be physical or emotional as this ensures the well-being of the child. The staff are
committed towards the children by providing protection when they play and learn.
Child Safe Environment
Staff of the organization ensures that the settings of the organization is such that it ensures
the safety of children's as well as they set various reporting regulations. Every person who visit the
centre knows all the entry and exit gates of the centre. They also ensure that during the parking of
vehicles the driver of car or any vehicles are conscious of the children who are there in the
driveway.

Food & Nutrition
It is a responsibility of the centre to spread awareness of dental and oral hygiene as well as
nutrition among the parents. If they are providing any type of food to the children they make sure
that they comply with the Food Standards of Australia. When the organization is developing menu
they make sure that nutrition, cultural requirements as well as dietary is followed.
Sustainability
It is a belief of Goodstart that the early period of childhood is important for the children.
During the early period they should be mixed up in the sustainability and environment education, as
it will help them to develop respect towards the planet as well as they will help the planet by
protecting it from any harm. For developing this respect it is vital for them to have sense of wonder,
feel of belonging and love towards the natural environment which consists of every living things
and animals.
Behaviour Guidance
In the Goodstart Early Learning every children's is given guidance, opportunities as well as
support which maintain their behaviour. They encourage proactive partnership by getting help of the
families for supporting the children's behaviour in positive way. This is done when the children's are
facing challenges in developing behaviour.

procedures within Goodstart Early Learning are based on education program and practices, children
health and safety practices. The policies related to developing relationships with children,
collaborative partnership with families and communities need to be improved on for strengthening
sustainable standards. Also collaborative partnership, with families and communities is specific
procedure which has to be changed for ensuring sustainable standards diversely. The leadership
with service management, has to be grown in sustainable format for ensuring competent working
improvement based on specific working accuracy parameters. Policies and procedures, have to be
evolved on for ensuring sustainable working standards based on operative standards for
strengthening rapid improvement goals diversely. The policies, procedures further advances areas to
determine sustainable working goals for improved extended management. Ensuing sustainable
aspects within policies and procedures, will develop goodwill of child care center effectively
(Nuttall and et.al, 2021). The environmental sustainability can be promoted with the help of reusing
and recycling the waste materials and reducing the use of papers.
The policy of water conservation is entitled with teaching children in context of using half flush in

the toilet, turning of the water when there is no use of it and turning of the tap when brushing the
teeth. This policy helps in saving water that contributes in the environment sustainability and often
helps in guiding children in context of saving the water and increasing the effectiveness of
environment. Thus, this policy is entitled within encouraging children to save water and assuring
contribution in saving environment.
Development of strategies to address areas requiring change and implementaion of strategies
The Good Start Early Learning, for addressing areas requiring change and implementation
of strategies need to further advance on improvement towards development of new capital
investments. Also development of new strategies, such as extending trainings will enable company
to implement further working improvement on wider parameters. The Good Start early learning by
adopting strategies for developing sustainable business goals, need to innovatively adhere towards

Implementation of new strategies such as teaching children about saving of water and

Framework which is formed for the education and care for the early childhood. The aim of this
framework is to provide proper guidance to the children's so that they can grow faster and can have
