The main points of the article discusses about role of Google AdWords in promoting
business. This is so because there was a time when people found it much difficult to afford
advertisement of their products and services. Google Adword offers a much inexpensive way of
promoting business through spreading awareness among the consumers globally. However
advertising using Google Ad Word also requires a lot of planning such that businesses do not
have to spend millions of dollars for the same. The Google adword is a key-word driven
advertisement application that shows on the right side of Google page. And the rank on which
the advertisement of different businesses appears depends upon the amount that they are ready to
spend on their campaigns. However it is also necessary for businesses to keep certain guidelines
in mind while making use of the Google Adword (Nytimes.com, 2020). These includes-
understanding the fact that Adwords is not meant for those businesses which wants to advertise
products that have not been used before, businesses need to set realistic budget, focusing on local
market, narrowing keyword, cresting landing pages, staying on top of campaign or even
outsourcing it.

The marketing concepts and approaches that can be applied to the situation of the article
include e-commerce tools (Khanuja & Bihari, 2016). These tools includes- e-mail marketing,

commerce platforms. The Google adwords is an important e-commerce tool as it includes-
improving the brand image by increasing the product exposure. It can be used for the purpose of

website. It can help in targeting a specific audience and payment in such situation is required to

company’s website. Therefore this tool of e-commerce is very important for businesses as it can
help businesses to grow and expand by improving awareness of its goods and services and
creating traffic for the company’s website.

This week’s material was about the different e-commerce tools and the service growth
from it. There are a number of types of e-commerce tools and these includes- e-mail marketing,
social media marketing, SEO tools, text marketing, Google Adwords and the different social
media platform. Some of the most important tools are- Google Adwords, SEO tools and social
media marketing. Google Adwords helps businesses in improving the traffic on their website and
in product exposure. On the hand, social media marketing includes making use of social media
platforms for marketing goods and services (Clarke et al., 2018). These includes Facebook lead
tools- that can help in gathering information related to a specific target audience and then it can
also be automatically populated into the email with the help of marketing automation. SEO can
help in setting up the e-commerce website and also content in order to show better results in
online search.
