Google’s Plan to launch a heavy Censorship Search Engine in China
Google is planning for launch a heavily censorship search engine in China which is
against the law of Chinese censorship laws. Even 7-8 years before Google withdrew its all
services from Chine because of Chinese limitations on freedom of speech. However, now
Google plan to launch a heavy search engine in China that is again condemned in the country
(Flick, 2018). It affects the interest of Chinese Google users who will be the major
stakeholder of Google in china. However, the stakeholder mapping in Google Users are as
follow:
Identification of Stakeholders: The major Stakeholders of Google in china are
Google search engine users, Advertising agencies, etc.
Analysis: The Google users in China supports the decision of country that Google
could not cooperate the Chinese policies and laws while critic says that Google cannot do it,
because China is a great market for Google and there are large number of people can use its
services (Sherman, 2018).
Priorities: Google can provide wide range of services for information seekers and
other organisation for giving ads online. It will provide benefits to both sides. Google’s cheap
services can be beneficial for every person in China.
Engagement: If China Cooperates Google for its services and provide some freedom
of speech and operating business in the country, the interest of other key stakeholders of
Google can be protected. Google is known for its best services, it should communicate its
strategy and policies to Chinese Government and people that how Google can provide best
service in the world to Chinese people and organisations.
