Introduction
To make a most advanced age and facilitate people for processing day to day professional or personal tasks,
inventors rapidly invented a new type of technologies that can reduce human efforts and maximize efficiency.
Form millions of technologies, Google Glass is one that facilitates the user to use the device by wearing it and
process the work activities smoothly. Such technology has been adopted by the corporate industries first to
help their employees to record videos or take useful photographs to efficiently complete the work and share
that information with others on the go. But the wearable Google Glass could also raise some ethical issues in
the workplace and could be harmful to the individual and company. So, the paper is contributed to make a
detailed analysis of the ethical issues that could be raised because of technologies such as Google Glass.
Identification of at least two important ethical issues
Technology like Google class creates new type of security issues for the workplaces. There are number o
organizations who reported that the use of Google Glass create privacy issues or unable to restrict use of such
kinds of gadgets. But the meddling idea of these gadgets, which could be utilized by representatives to take
stealthy photos or recordings, is ringing alerts among certain businesses. The ethical issue because of the use
of Google Glass in a workplace is as follows”
Intellectual Property
In the fastest moving age organization adopted popular technologies to make their work process efficient but
sometimes use of such device or technology create issues related to intellectual property. So at workplace,
organizations have to make rules and regulation for use of wearable devices such as Google glass where the
employees deal with valuable and sensitive data or information of organization. The employees of the
organization can use these devices to make breach in valuable assets, system and securities on workplaces. The
use of such devices also increase probability for leak of sensitive information of customers or create risks for
hacking in systems. Similarly use of Google Glass could also record video for processing of work approach of
other employee and copy that.

Lack of privacy
Lack of privacy as well as violation of privacy protection right of individuals issue is also associated with the use
of Google Glass on workplaces. The privacy concern administrations face critical issue because of using this, as
individual wear that can record another employee’s activities and private communications. The concern also
worried because of stolen issue of such devices. Means if an employee lost organizational Google Glass then it
could become more terrific issue as one can use the device to make breach in workplace information or
system. As the organization raise complain for this issue and Google ensure that they will add feature to lock
the device remotely using system in condition where the device will lost or stolen.
The police administration in different states also raises issue for the wearing of Google glass it can become a
bigger factor for a road accident. A few offices have prohibited the utilization of Google Glass before its
discharge to the overall population, referring to worries over potential protection abusing capacities. Different
offices, for example, Las Vegas club, restricted Google Glass, referring to their craving to consent to Nevada
state law and normal gaming guidelines which boycott the utilization of chronicle gadgets close betting
regions[1].
Analyze the identified issue in terms of their impact on business and society
All individuals who working in workplaces have right to stand for self privacy and to make complaint about the
activity that is done by other to make breach in their personal and professional work. The issue which is
created because of use of Google Glass on workplace impacts on business and society of workplace. This
compromised privacy of individuals their work activities and even down trust toward organization. If an
organization record something then a red light glow which distract the others and can create problem in
completing the task. The other impacts of Google Glass are it compromised with sensitive information of
organization. If someone use Google Glass on workplace and at same time deals with business process then all
activities will get record and may use by individual for personal gain. [2].

Evaluation of issue and justification of evaluation
The issue like the use of intellectual properties and use of wearable glass in a workplace can impact on other
individuals by gradually down morality. This type of activities decreasesthe trust of an employee towards
organization and socially damage trust on their colleagues. If an organization adopt Google glass, then it also
must be sure that an employee may access to the intellectual property of the organization. The present
account highlights of Google Glass along these lines’ conflicts with the correspondence guideline. Without
recognizing what the reason for the accounts or what the client wanted to do with them, it is improbable that
people would agree to be recorded[4].

Conclusion
The assessment is based on ethical issues that could be raised because of using technologies like Google Glass
on a workplace. Google Glass is the most advanced technology designed in the shape of a pair of eyeglasses.
The device allows visualizing information, record videos, taking a picture and addressing a map just like a
Smartphone in hands free-format. These advanced technologies featureis in criticism because of its ability to
record the moment and facial recognition. In this assessment, ethical issue because of the use of wearable
Google Glass has been recorded. When a user capturing a video without informing staffs is a process under
which the staff feels a lack of privacy and the moral autonomy of employees could be lost without informing
them. Means the recording of Google Glass becomes actionable as against of reciprocity. The whole
assessment is based on learning about Google Glass and it ethical issues that could be raised in the workplace
and will help them learners to understand the concept of Google Glass technologies and its ethical issue from
the social and ethical point of view.
