INTRODUCTION
Management operation is a tool of business practice to develop highest efficiency in
organisation. This is an important aspect which helps organisation to maximise their profits and
increases sales. It also assists organisation to identify whether inputs are successfully turned into
outputs or not. This report is prepared in context of Google which is an American multinational
technology company. It deals in internet-related services and goods (Alderton and Saieva, 2013).
It also involves online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software and
hardware. There are different types of roles and characteristics which is discussed in this report
which leaders and managers play. Along with this, there are also some leadership theories
specified in this project to achieve company goals. In additional, importance and value of
operational management is stated below which assists organisation in accomplishing operations
and functions.

achieve company goals. In this, manager and leader of company plays an essential part and
contributes their efforts in achieving set targets.
Leader: A leader is an individual who guides and motivate its employees to achieve
goals. They also play an important role in organisation by developing and implementing
strategies to run organisation smoothly and systematically. In context of Google, the leader of
company also adopts advanced technologies and tactics to enhance success and growth of
company.
Manager: A manager is a person who contributes their efforts in carry out business
operations effectively. They provide professional training and knowledge to their employees
which helps them to perform well and increases productivity of organisation. The manager of
