INTRODUCTION
Every organisation have some objectives which they want to achieve in an effective
manner. Management and operations is an administration of business practices that can create
high level of efficiency within an organisation (Ageron, Gunasekaran and Spalanzani,2012). It is
basically concerned to convert raw materials and labour into goods and services. Google is one
of American engine company that have more than 70 percent of worldwide online search
requests. This file basically defines roles and characteristics of an efficient leader, different
theories that a leader made in an organisation. It would also deal different key approaches,
importance and factors affecting business environment that have an impact on operation
management. This report also make the direct impact to find out different decisions that a
company have made will be discussed in this file.

P1 Different roles and characteristics of a leader and a manager of Google Ltd
Citied company is considered as one of a most important search engine in order to
organise information on an internet. More than 88,110 full-time employees are working in this
field.
Role of a leader and manager
A role of an effective leader and manager of a company had to make different
challengers that particular employees had to follow. Google became a largest entity is one of
biggest technology in world. The manager should have right balance of interest offering right
balance of freedom and advice for a team. The team should have shown keen interest towards a
company and can become unbiased aware of unconscious biases (Ahuja, 2017). Good leaders
and managers create the inclusive environment everyday so that employees can do work in an
efficient manner. The employees do not want to do work where a managers are so lazy and do
not initialise the work, they have to be goal -oriented in making different challenges in company.
They make sure that all the task are being done in a systematic manner focussing on day to day
activities. As a result, it helps managers in executing the work in an effective manner.

Instead of directing employees for the task leader should be strategically focussed, this
will not only guide workers but also motivate them in driving themselves for doing any

Manager should be a good coacher, who can perform great performance and can invest

make the effective leadership styles, a person should adopt different techniques to make all the
styles efficient. In google, it can see such behaviours that can behaves democratic, autocratic
with respect to the behaviour state. There are the combination of positional powers that can
developed the strategic approach. Google leaders have made the leadership styles behaviour in a
potential manner that all employees can adopt leadership styles. The leaders relies on the

2. Quality management:- This department of operation management in Google is being
done with the help of testing and innovation by including user's involvement. They
consider reviews and feedbacks on a regular basis which further assist them in improving
and providing quality services and facilities.
3. Process and capacity design:- This step is considered while making designs for its
workflows and facilities. Thus, Google uses its effective workforce for implementing
