Instrument to Measure Governance and Performance in Infrastructure

This assignment presents a research paper that validates an instrument designed to measure governance and performance in collaborative infrastructure projects. The study, based on data from 320 Australian construction organizations, confirms seven hypothesized governance mechanisms, 30 of 43 underlying actions, and eight key performance indicators. A significant finding is the greater predictive power of informal mechanisms (non-contractual conditions) on project performance compared to formal mechanisms (contractual conditions).
