AI Summary
This essay delves into the effectiveness of several strategies—competitive government, privatization, decentralization, innovation, and empowerment—on the improvement of government bureaucracy. It argues that a competitive government, by enacting laws that face minimal opposition, can enhance bureaucratic stability. Privatization can improve bureaucracy, especially when implemented by larger entities, while decentralization empowers local governments and public interest groups, addressing localized issues effectively. An innovative government fosters ideas from residents and commercial bodies, further improving bureaucracy. Ultimately, the essay concludes that empowering residents through voting rights and other means is the most effective method for improving the overall political body and, consequently, the bureaucracy. Bureaucracy generally refers to the body of the non-elective officials of the government
as well as the administrative groups that helps in the policy-making of the concerned state. The
following essay deals with the effectiveness of the competitive government, privatization,
decentralization, innovation and the empowerment on the matters that pertain to the bureaucracy.
The competitive government refers to the governmental bodies that are compelled to
maintain the competitive mentality in order to maintain the ruling position within the concerned
state. This might help in the improvement of the bureaucracy by continuing with the
implementation of the acts and laws that might help in ensuring the stability of the concerned
government (Niskanen 2017). The competitive government helps in the improvement of the
bureaucracy by dealing with the enactment and the implementation of the laws and regulations
within the given state that might not earn a great amount of opposition from the opposition of the
government.
Privatization refers to the denationalization or the disinvestment of the various assets and
properties thereby leading to the ownership of the concerned properties being transferred to
private owners. The privatization might help in the improvement of the bureaucracy in the
various areas that might be governed by the larger bureaucracies (Selden 2015). This might have
resulted from the fact that the larger bureaucracies tend to put forth the implementation of the
changes in a better manner than the smaller ones.
Decentralization refers to the distribution of the power held by the central government
among the various state governments and the other local governments (Fauget 2014, 7-10). This
might help in the improvement of the bureaucracy due to the fact that the decentralization helps
in transfer of the power to the local governmental bodies thereby encouraging the formation of

the public interest groups that are effective in throwing light on the various problems that are
faced by the concerned people in the concerned area of jurisdiction.
An innovative government is characterized by the leaders who portray the various
attributes like the inventiveness, the experimentation of the ideas and the creative thinking. The
innovations in the various fields of activity undertaken by the concerned government (Ammons
2018, 85-96). The innovative government might help in the improvement of the bureaucracy by
fostering the ideas that tend to be provided by the concerned residents of the state as well as the
various commercial bodies present within the territories of the concerned state in order to bring
about an improvement within the concerned bureaucracy.
The empowerment of the various residents and the citizens of the state might help in the
improvement of the concerned bureaucratic government. The bureaucracy might be benefitted
from the empowerment of the residents in the ways that lead to the declaration and the
implementation of the voting rights of the concerned people (Lorinkova and Perry 2017, 1635-
45). This might help in the matters that pertain to the improvement of the concerned political
body on the whole.
Thus, from the above discussion it might safely be concluded that the most effective
method that might help in the improvement of the bureaucracy is the method dealing with the
empowerment of the concerned residents of the governmental area.
