Impacts of government policies in maximizing healthcare competitive advantage
Increased customer engagement
The government policy will ensure increased customer engagement within public healthcare
centers which will be an added advantage to most of the health center in terms of competition in
healthcare service delivery. The policy will maximize competitive advantage in the healthcare
facilities due friendly customer engagement practices which ensures better service delivery.
(Sallis et Al, 2016, pg. 2939).
With increased customer engagement, the organization will have large number of patients
turn out thus maximizing their profitability.
Instant response to patients' needs
Government policies in timing during service delivery for a patients will ensure instant
response to patients' medical needs hence making that particular healthcare organization to
maximize its competitive advantage in health care market. Through instant response to patients'
medical needs, most of the patients will prefer such healthcare center as they will not spend
much of their time waiting for medical attention from the clinical practitioners. (Hirth et al, 2019,
pg. 335)
Instant response to patient's medical need will be an added competitive advantage to most of
the healthcare centers due to minimized time for medical response.
From the policies provided by the government in attempt to maximize competition within
healthcare sector, I support the policy based on time where response to the patient will be faster
since most of the patients prefer quick response to their medical needs hence such facilities will

have many customers seeking their services. Therefore I can advise most of the healthcare
facilities to adopt such policies in order to maximize their profits.
