Marginalization in Australia: Government, Private, and Civil Roles

INTRODUCTION
The main aim of conducting respective report is to understand about the role of three
sectors i.e. government, private and civil society it also includes non-government organization.
In this evaluation of role is based on factor i.e. impact of marginalization on the vulnerable
populations in the Australian society. Moreover, report will also include current services for
members of marginalized population developed by government, private and civil society.
MAIN BODY
Marginalized population is considered as those people who are excluded from the main
stream of social, cultural, economic or political life in a nation. In addition to this vulnerable
group or migrated people are those who are with suffering from any or many mental disorder as
well as they are being neglected from the society. vulnerable group include people who
experienced family or domestic violence, refugees/ CALD, people exiting prison, person who
have blood borne viruses, person who need high social and health care and many more.
Marginalized populations like women, historically oppressed ethnic or oppressed group,
individual who have identity as transgender, gay, lesbians, queer or a person with mental or
physical disorder. In Australia these people are considered as marginalized population who are
being highly impacted due to economic crises in year 2008 as during this population these people
not able to get proper health care services (Opportunities for Action: Traditionally Marginalized
Populations and the Economic Crisis, 2020). Moreover, marginalization highly impacts on the
vulnerable population in Australian society as during these economic crises they not able to get
proper economic sources as at that time no one want to recruit these people in their office. This
marginalization shows direct or indirect impact on the wellbeing and health of vulnerable people
as they not able to get proper treatment (Learning to build relationships for a better Australia,
2020). It is generally take place because due to less availability of economy to the vulnerable
population in Australian marginalized people not able to get proper health care services.
Role of government sector
In addition to this the propose processes for ameliorating the effects of marginalization on health
and wellbeing is based on developing and following strategies and plans which are developed by
government, civil society and private society so that these people leave their life properly and

effectively at Australia. Moreover, in Australia Aboriginal people are considered as vulnerable
society which are being marginalized due to their culture, culture, religion and lifestyle
(Workplace mentoring for indigenous Australians: a case study, 2020). For these people
government, private and civil services develop numbers of rules, regulation and policies so that
they right of these people get protected from others. In order to avoid the gap among the
vulnerable population who are being marginalized the local government plays role as they
develop different rules and policies so that these people get equal rights other as well as they also
law for providing equal opportunities for education in effective manner. Moreover, local
government also provide support to the vulnerable population student out campus so that they
feel secure and safe in Australia. Along with this, community developed by government also
ensure that vulnerable people get proper health care services without any discrimination. In
respect of this government also develop special hospital for these people where they get proper
health and social care services successfully.
Role of private sector
In addition to this, private sector also plays major role in avoiding the impact of marginalization
on vulnerable populations in Australian as they according to that situation private sector develop
rules, regulations and policies which are being followed at the workplace (Access and Retention

Through this it can be ensure that vulnerable populations in Australian get equal opportunities as
well as they also ensure that their all staffs are getting equal health and social care services or
not. In addition to this, private sector also adopts different innovative or creative ideas or
thoughts which they can provide more quality and effective health and social care services to
vulnerable populations in Australian. In addition to this private sector also conduct different
corporate social responsibilities activities in order to enhance lifestyle of vulnerable populations
in Australian. In respect of this they do charity so that economic condition of these people get
enhance as well as private sector also provide them free medical checkups, treatments and
awareness so that these people get proper health and social care. Private sector companies also
provide employment opportunities to vulnerable populations in Australian such as Aboriginal
people so that they can enhance their leaving standard. This will also help in enhancing
education level of these people successfully.

Role of civil sector
Along with this, in respect of role of civil sector in the perspective of vulnerable populations in
Australian they develop different groups who offered quality services to these people so that they
can spend their life properly (Severe mental disorders in complex emergencies, 2020). In
addition to this, respective society also provide support to vulnerable populations in Australians
so that they get proper health and social care services properly without any discrimination. In
respect of this they also adopt innovative as well as creative ideas or thoughts. Moreover, these
people also develop strategies, rules, policies and regulation according to the vulnerable
populations in Australian culture and thinking so that their feeling cannot be hurt as well as they

numbers of private companies who conduct corporate social responsibilities for vulnerable
populations in Australian, through this their main motivate is to provide quality health and social
care services to these people as well as they also care about other aspects also such as education,
development and many more. In respect of current services for the members of Aboriginal
people who are the part of marginalized population it can be determined that it is essential for the
private sector to provide recruitment to these peoples as well as it is also ensure that no one will

Australia, 2020). In addition to this according to current services government also developing
rules that no one will do discrimination with Aboriginal people at the health and social care
center. Furthermore, government, private sector and civil society not do work in partnership but
their goal as well as agendas are same.
CONCLUSION
By conducting evaluation of above mentioned topic it can be summarized that for the
leaving standard of marginalized population is different from other who are non-marginalized
people. In addition to this the government, private as well as civil society developed different
rules, regulations and policies for marginalization on the vulnerable populations in the Australian
society. It is so because through that these societies want to provide them rights so that they can
leave effective life in Australia.
