Higher stipends from the government to the students have always been a matter of
debate in the urban society. Students nowadays are involved in various kinds of jobs, even in
the middle of their school and college years. These scholarships help the workforce of the
government to maintain researchers by spending a minimum amount of money. In return of
an fellowship provided by the government, students tend to learn for the future jobs and
enhance skills. The experiences gained at the PhD’s tend to provide better permanent
workforce in the future.
The issue of higher stipends does not only encourage students to work for the
government but also allows them to continue at the same firm after school/college years. If a
student involves as an intern in a firm, he/she manages to settle studies along with the job.
This settlement might cost the student to pay lower attention in studies and more towards the
work. Now, in this case, higher stipend might help the student to willingly continue at the
internship for a better practical knowledge without facing guilt on the academic front.
Also, a higher stipend for a student entails him/her with a notion of being rewarded on
the work presented or shared by him as a scholar. Rewards play an important role in work life
as it motivates a scholar to push himself on the right direction to work much more efficiently.
To bring out the best capability of an intern, it is very much important for an entity to pay
efficiently.
There are a lot of times that the students have already been a part of various other
internships and are much more experienced that the other interns working in the same team.
Better experiences in the research work and amongst different teams should always be
applauded with better stipends than the other team members.
Stipends in the educational structure are a form of reward paid to the students for
continuing their research and studies so as to gain more PhD’s in the country to be scholars in
the several fields. Hence, it is very important for the government to pay better stipends to the
students who give up their jobs in order to study for becoming scholars in order to serve the
country as researchers and professors.
There are several of cases where the student has to support studies independently and
also manage expenses for the living; this requires monetary support from the government, so
that the scholar is not forced to work separately for the sake of earning extra funds. The
period required for the scholars to complete their higher studies is usually more than the basic

years of advance studies. The time and space required for a research scholar does not allow
them to go for part time jobs and hence, better stipends do help in maintaining confidence
and patience for the better results in future.
