The student took this lesson on how light travels at different materials. The main lesson on this topic
was to learn about shadow, how to create sharp, dark and colored shadows. In addition, the students
learnt that light only travel in straight line and thus can describe its interactions with different materials
such as opaque, translucent and transparent ones. This was a second lesson at the class activity. Since
the students have already discussed with the teacher on this topic, it will be an easy activity for them.
Additionally, the student are familiar with this type of assessment since they carry it frequently after
any experiment or investigation.
Delivery method:
An activity will be presented to the student after investigation. The teacher will read the questions to
the students and explain them if need be. The teacher will then explain the success criteria upon which
the student will be assessed. The students will carry out the task individually, describing how light is
able to interact with different materials. They will be able to draw the light lines and write sentence
