This report focuses on different organisation and importance of different business
functions in organisation to achieve its goals and objectives as these functions help in
maximizing productivity and profitability of organisation. This report focuses on different
organisation in UK environment and how different business functions help them in boosting their
profits.
TASK 1
Role of different business functions in organisation
Every organisation productivity and profitability depends on its various departments such
as marketing, human resource, finance, operations etc. which help organisation in achieving
desired goals and objectives which help them in boosting their revenues. This part of report
focuses on importance of business function in several organisation such as TESCO and and how
these function help them in achieving their goals and objectives (Ali, Murphy, and Nadkarni,
2017).
Business function in TESCO
TESCO is second largest supermarket chain in UK which focuses on providing grocery products
