INTRODUCION
There are several challenges are faced by a student as well as working professionals in
their career (Garousi, Petersen and Ozkan, 2016). These challenges are required to address in
proper manner in order to grow and success in professional life. It helps to develop several skills
and abilities that are crucial to perform various business functions in an efficient manner. The
current report comprises several challenges that are witnessed by an individual with an aim to
improve in skills & potential which play a crucial role to attain several business tasks. In
addition, it also comprises smart objectives in order to grow and succeeded in professional
career.

There are several challenges are faced by an individual during academics as well as
professional life. It is essential to face these challenges in order to develop necessary skills that
will help in future career growth. Here, challenges prepare an individual for future uncertainties
and make them able to face those uncertainties in right manner. Some challenges that are often
faced by individuals are given as under:
Apprentice challenges LSST:
It is first and most important challenge that is faced while performing scores. Here, I have
been performed several functions and activities which will further enhance my skills & abilities.
It is analysed that this challenge is crucial for a student as it helps to develop several skills such
as communication, team building and more (Asante, 2016). Certain capabilities which are
developed with assistance of this module are given as under:
Communication skills: To survive in current competitive environment, it is essential to
have exponential communication skills that make a person enable to interact with others in better
manner. This challenge really helped me to improve communication skills by boosting my
confidence level. It helped me to involve in formal and informal conversation with individuals at
work place. In addition, with this I am able to put a great impression on my peers that will help
me in future career growth.

Team Working: There are several functions in academics as well as in professional
career in which an individual has to work in a team thus team working skills are really important
to explore in future. The above stated challenges played a great role in development of team
working skills that is essential to accomplish predefined common goals. Therefore, I am able to
work with different individuals in a team with an aim to attain organisational objectives. It will
also helped me to maintain effective coordination with different person within team.
Time management skills: Here, this challenge also provide remarkable time management
skills which make me enable to perform different task in predefined period of time (Hyland,
2016). Now, I am able to divide my time as per the requirement of different task thus able to
achieve set targets in timely manner.
Business skills: With this challenges I also get higher Business acumen that will help me
to identify different business opportunities and prepare appropriate strategies in order to avail
those opportunities. In addition, I am able to take appropriate business decisions to maximize
profitability of organisation that will strengthen my position at work place.
Presentation Challenges
Under this presentation challenge, TESCO challenge is performed. TESCO is a renowned
company that is working at global level and deals in groceries and general merchandise in
different countries worldwide. It provides several products such as food, clothes and more in
order to meet with needs of domestic and global audience. Company is working in 13 countries
at international level and has nearly 7000 stores globally (Adachi, Tai and Dawson, 2018). Here,
several innovative approaches are being used by this organisation with an aim to survive at
complex environment of UK. There are several aspects are included in present challenge with an
aim to prepare effective presentation related to organisational functions where numerous
internship programs are arranged. It helped me to develop certain skills that are given as under:
Communication Skills: Here, I got an opportunity to perform different functions within
company. During internship, I used to involve in several formal and informal discussion with my
peers & managers that helped me to develop exponential communication skills. It will also help
me to get better opportunities in future to grow in professional career.
Team work: With present challenges I learned the significance of team work that is
essential to develop team spirit. It make me enable to coordinate with other individuals within
organisation to achieve predefined objectives.

help me to prepare effective strategies for organisational growth. In addition, I will be able to
make appropriate use of available resources with an aim to attain predefined business objectives.

this I used several stages in order to manage challenges and functions in better manner. These
stages are given as under:

business function by using appropriate tools & techniques.
Norming: In this, I used to analyse and combined different task so that organisational
goals can be achieve in stipulated period of time ( Mooring, 2016).
Performing: Here, I analysed capabilities of different individuals and assign them task
accordingly that will help them to fulfil their roles & responsibilities in best possible way.
Adjourning: This is the last and most crucial stage where team is separated after
completion of business goals.
Action plan
To meet with above stated challenges, it is essential for me to develop certain skills &
capabilities to perform assigned task in better manner. For this an action plan has been developed
by me which is mentioned below:
Specific: I am looking forward to improve in my competencies that will help me to
perform business functions as per resource availability.
Measurable: For this, I will improve my communication skills from 50 to 70 % so that I
can interact with other in effective manner (Kandachar and Halme, 2017).
Achievable: In order to improve my communication skills I will develop an appropriate
plan that will include future actions I will take to improve this skill.
Relevant: I will bring relevancy in my action plan by undertaking proper research and
investigation about specific project.
Timely: Time play a major role in action plan and help to achieve set targets in stipulated
period of time. I will prepare proper schedule in order to manage different activities effectively.
