essential to learn specific skills, tools and techniques which help to growth in future. The report
is about Morrisons which is one of the famous brand in UK which dealing in grocery items. It
provides a wide range product and services in order to fulfil the requirement of customers. The
paper consist a business functions which is performed effective and efficiently in order to easily
gained the targets and improve the performance of company. They all are coordinated with each
other because enhancing profitability of company along with includes various skills for
employees and student which are learned to boost their career (Hurst, 2019).

goal and objective of company. There are ample numbers of business function such as
production, customer service, marketing, sales and operations. In context of Morrisons, business
functions are linked together and they perform work very effectively and efficiently. There are
different types of business function which are discussed below.
Marketing-: Marketing is important function in order to effectively formulated strategies
to attaining competitive advantages. It department which coordinated with different business
function because they easily achieving the goal and objective of company. There are various
other function such as finance, human resources, production and customer service. Marketing
manager of Morrisons developing new techniques and motivated employees to achieve target on
specific time frame.
Finance-: These department plays major role in order to without that pillar of
organisation activities and task cannot perform effectively. It considered as strong pillar because
they pans budget and estimation of cost to other departments. In relevance of Morrisons, top
authority dealing with finance activity due to effectively making proper budget regarding total
cost which incur in business operations (Hilbert, 2016).

Customer service-: these department linked to all the functions of organisation because
they solve the concern of employees and provides best solution. It department which establish in
most of companies because customer is important resource for an organisation. It plays crucial
role in order to successfully growing business at marketplace. Service executive of Morrisons
take a feedback or view of customers and solves the problems and satisfy needs and wants of
customers.
Human resources-: HR manager hiring right person at right place in order to fulfil the
vacancy and fill up the position in order to improve the task. In relevance of organisation, utilize
different method on that basis selection of candidate and evaluate the individual ability and
