Skills Development: Reflective Report on Challenges & Action Plan

This report reflects on the skills acquired through apprenticeship, presentation, and t-shirt challenges. The analysis covers time management, meeting skills, teamwork, communication, and business acumen developed during these experiences. The apprenticeship challenge enhanced communication skills, while the presentation challenge improved confidence and teamwork. The t-shirt challenge fostered nonverbal communication, business, financial, and decision-making skills. An action plan is outlined for continuous improvement in these areas, including setting deadlines, clear communication, problem-solving, team collaboration, and financial planning. The report concludes that these challenges contribute significantly to graduate students' professional development, highlighting strengths and weaknesses while promoting practical skill enhancement. INTRODUCTION
Graduate challenge is being used for ensuring students that the must gain knowledge of
skills thoroughly beside the corporate knowledge of words. There is various difficulty which is
being faced by the graduate students during their various courses. These challenges are mainly
used to develop the students to cope up with the dynamic environment. The apprenticeship
challenge is used for acquiring the effective communication skills which guides an individual in
solving various business problems. Also, with the presentation challenge and t shirt challenge
will enhance different business and meeting skills. This reflection report will mainly focus on
critical analysing the apprenticeship challenges, presentation challenge and t shirt challenges.
MAIN BODY
1. Analysing the apprenticeship challenge, presentation challenge and t shirt challenge
Apprenticeship challenge: These programs are mainly the training programs which helps
in giving the occupational training which general combines the work experience, in gaining
knowledge. These challenges are mainly use for analysing and developing the useful skills
which was generally helpful for me gaining the knowledge and skills. These challenges help
students and leads them towards the pathway towards their career. These challenges have helped
me in advancing the career options. The apprenticeship has helped me in various ways mainly in
learning ng by doing things. these are generally regarded as the vocational trainings which
generally provides feedback also to improve in the processes (Levin and et.al., 2021). By doing
and performing the apprenticeship challenge has helped me in targeting my various skills and it
also assist in putting those skills at the prime position which will help in getting better position in
future career.
Presentation challenge: These challenges are mainly conducted for presenting the specific
information in front of the large group of people. This challenges are basically concerning for
presenting the latest new idea or the work. this is used for communicating something with the
group of people (Backwell and Walsh, 2020). The main purpose of the presentation challenge is
for gaining, informing, assessing, and learning. this challenge has helped me in participating and
learning effectively for the topic and tasks concerning with different alternatives and
perspectives.

T shirt challenge: The t shirt challenge are basically concerns as the promotional tool
which helps the brand for marketing their products. these are mainly used by the small and
medium enterprises which mainly have the modern budgets. T shirt challenge consist of the
designing the t shirt for the particular brand and marketing their products to the consumers by
printing t-shirts. These generally attract lots of consumer as it uses very vibrant colours and it is
the unique way of promoting the brands (Cheng and et.al., 2022). These are generally regarded
as the walking advertisement and marketing of the products which helps in gaining the customer
faith and trust and retain them for purchasing the brand products.
2. Reflectioning on various skills gained and learned by performing these challenges
Skills gained from the presentation and the apprenticeship challenge
Time management skills: While performing the presentation challenge has helps me in
developing the time management skills as for the presentation it requires rehearsing early about
the information being gathered and which must be communicated in front of people. Also, while
performing the apprenticeship challenge has assisted me in providing the innovative solutions for
solving various business problems on time.
Meeting skills: These challenges have aided in building meetings skills which will
generally helpful for making the better career in future. As making the presentation has improved
my confidence for presenting in front of various people (Kostopoulos, 2022). it also encourages
in organising various work related to team and for performing various work concerning with
business meetings and working in team.
Team working skills: By performing the presentation and the apprenticeship challenge has
helped me in gaining team working skills. as it has assisted in engaging better with the group of
people and performing various tasks with the team personnel’s. it has also helped me in building
better understanding with various groups in the university and also with the teachers.
Communication skills: The presentation and apprenticeship challenge has helped me in
understanding the information better and builds the better communication skills. as by
performing them it engages an individual in interacting with various individual and
communicating the information to large group of people (Day, Saab and Admiraal, 2021). Which
helps in reducing stressful situation and enhances the communication skills which aids in
performing various tasks.

Business skills: By performing the apprenticeship and presentation challenge has helped me
in developing in various business and competency skills. As by making the presentation aids in
building better relations with the various team and groups in the company. It also aids in
delivering with the better and clear information of the tasks and work. These skills help in
building the problem solving skills for business, research for important information and it also
helps in acquiring the technological skills needed to perform work.
As the apprenticeship challenge has helped me in developing various skills mainly the
communication skills. Also the swot analysis of this challenge has helped inn communicating
better and clear knowledge about various subjects and it maintains better relation with various
group members also with academic teachers. By performing tis challenge has improved the
overall academic situations (Apprenticeship, presentation and t shirt Challenges, 2022). Also the
training being provided under this challenge has given me the opportunity for developing and
acquiring the better and improved knowledge. but there are certain threats concerning this
challenge as it does not give each and every student the proper attention as it takes a bit longer
time to solve the problems.
Skills gained from the t shirt challenge
Team working skills: The team working skills will also be developed as for designing
promoting and marketing the t shirt each member form every team will be required which will
help in better coordination and promotes team working.
Communication skills: By performing the t-shirt challenge has helped me in developing
the nonverbal communication skills. As the consumes will be interpreting message by seeing the
t-shirt which must be designed with the proper monogram and logo by using the bright colours.
Business skills: The business skills concerning the branding skills, marketing skills will
be developed by performing the t-shirt challenge.
Financial skills: The t shirt challenge has helped in learning the financial skills. As for
purchasing branding and marketing the products the finance is must. so for this challenge the
finance required for the branding, promoting, designing logos and monogram also helps in
assisting the brands as it has earned profit or loss (Majithia and et.al., 2022). Thus, this will help
in developing financial skills.
Decision making skills: The decision making skills concerning the monograming of the t
shirt, designing it, selecting the quality of the t-shirt, and also the selecting the various colours

and selecting the various channels for distributing of the t-shirt will generally enhance the
decision making skills.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that the graduate challenge has helped in
learning various skills. Which mainly incudes the communication, time management, business
skills, meeting skills and many more. The swot framework while performing the apprenticeship
challenge has assisted me in guiding and training with better options. Moreover, this framework
has also provided me in assisted me in finding out my weakness and strengths while performing
these challenge. By performing these challenges has also helped in analysing the branding,
financing and the various operations being required for performing the t shirt challenge. Also, the
target audience with the apprenticeship challenge have been analysed which mainly the students
of the university for performing these challenges for improving their skills.
