INTRODUCTION
Professional and personal development is very important and necessary task to a person
for gaining very positive outcomes in market place. Currently each industry or sector faces very
high challenges, and this why only those people are gaining better results in the market who has
excellent skills and abilities. Currently there are different innovative ways and techniques simply
available to a learner or a person which can contribute in developing various abilities and skills
in daily live, and at the end these skills helps in systematically dealing with various challenges.
There is a reflection has been included below which is based on four key challenges of
university.
MAIN BODY
The Challenges
There are a lot of challenges which are faced in order to be able to achieve the task. The
four challenges which are going to be discussed in the further report are presentation challenge,
apprentice challenge, t-shirt challenge and hotel challenge. The challenges have to be overcome
so that the best can be achieved by the team and individuals who are participating in the task in
hand (Lencina, 2018).
Presentation Challenge
There is a lot of communication which can be done while giving a presentation to the
people and audience which is present. There is a particular time frame which is allotted by the
teachers to all the individuals and groups presenting their presentation in the lecture. The
presentation time frame is going to be less therefore only the important discussions and
information which are supposed to be let out to the audience. There is a lot of detailing which is
present in the presentation but that should be put in special notes so that the teacher can refer to
them or the audience can refer to them later but the information which is being passed on is
relatable. it is very important to understand the audience and use the right technique accordingly
so that there is going to be a higher interaction which is going to be present (Fearon and et.al.,
2020). During a presentation it is very important to take the feedbacks of the audience so that
higher improvement and satisfaction would be present of the person who is giving the
presentation. According to the environment and the knowledge which the audience is having the

information should be let out accordingly and only the important decisions and discussions
should be presented in front of the audience so that the time frame can be maintained
Apprentice Challenge
During performing a task it is very important to have creativity and experience so that the
targets and goals can be achieved effectively and efficiently. There are going to be a lot of
problems, issues and conflicts which are going to rise when innovation and invention is got
together but they need to be overcome effectively so that the performance level is not being
affected. A good communication is very essential in this aspect so that the task is going to have a
sense of direction for all the individuals who are participating in it and would be able to give out
their best accordingly. Good distribution of work and teamwork needs to be present which would
make though end product is achieved faster and the standards are going to be maintained of all
the individuals present. There has to be a good quality and standard which needs to be present
there for right skills an information has to be present with all of them individually so that there is
going to be higher achievement and success which would be present (McDermott, 2019).
Teamwork is very essential in this challenge so that there is going to be higher achievement and
satisfaction which is going to be present. Creativity is always going to help to get the attention of
the audience which is a very essential factor for the group to have when they are putting forward
their task to them.
T-Shirt Challenge
The shirt challenge having the right information is very important so that it can be got out
in that small limited area of information which the individual is trying to put out. it is very
important to have high attention And functioning which needs to be present so that time
management would be present. Phases which are being used on the t-shirt should not be harming
anyone feelings and emotions and a good understanding of audience need to be present when this
factor is being used. The skill which is required to be able to achieve this challenge is to have
good communication and be able to have a good understanding of the people around. There is a
lot of creativity which is going to be required as well as colours and fonts which need to be used
in this print so that they can capture the attention of the audience. This is time consuming
challenge but once there is a good understanding there is going to be higher functioning and

achievement of goals which is going to be present (Anderson and et.al., 2019). It is important for
the T-shirt challenge to be done well because the audience is going to judge the task on this
aspect therefore there has to be good communication which needs to be present form this factor.
Hotel Challenge
I have faced the hotel challenge also in the university, but with the support of own
different abilities and skills, I was successfully managed the impact of hotel challenge. Basically,
we should have effective problem-solving ability and well-developed ability of conflict
management, and this thing will be able to properly deal with impact of hotel challenge. During
facing this challenge, one of my colleagues has suggested that you need to develop your skill of
problem-solving, and then I did accordingly. I have putted own huge efforts for developing own
problem-solving skills, and at the end I was succeeded in development (Albin-Clark and et.al.,
2018). After developing skill, I was systematically handled and resolved that hotel challenge
under the module of university.
Action Plan
Creation of an effective action plan is very important to a person or a learner for
developing own those skills and abilities which are currently very weak or poor. In this dynamic
and modern world, almost all people or learner has created action plan for their personal and
professional development. In this situation, I have also need to take step towards developing own
skills and abilities. Basically, an effective action plan provides us a specific path of the
development, and this is why we have to follow this plan. I have created an effective action
below for the next three years to more and more and developing or improving own different
skills and abilities.

It can be concluded that there are many challenges has faced by different learners or
people during the module of university, in which everyone has to be ready for systematically
dealing with the impact of all challenges. There is creation of an effective action plan is the best
deal to develop own different skills, abilities and knowledge. Generally, when anyone has
different well-developed skills, then it can simply be able to improve its personality and
professionalism as well.
