INTRODUCTION
A student while conducting their activities to obtain high scores within university faced
varied challenges. The current assignment will explain reflective statement that is based on
knowledge and skills development through participation in three major challenges, these are T-
shirt, apprentice, and presentation challenge.
MAIN BODY
Analysis of three challenges which concentrates on business angle
Apprentice challenge is concerned with making the communicational skill strong as it
involves undergoing apprenticeship training. I have seen that these task is done at all levels of
company which basically gives emphasis on creating innovation, marketing plan, battle of brand,
etc. I have analysed that this challenge is associated with aching students to come up with new
business ideas which can help the firm to make higher printability and sustainability. In my
opinion giving feedback regarding the activities conducted is useful I ache students to garb the
different types of skills like budgetary control, innovative thinking, business skills, time
management, etc. The particular challenge is conducted to make students aware of prevailing
corporate way of financing and managing operations in effectual manner (Crawford-Lee and
Moor wood, 2019). I came to know that how financial practices are managed companies for
achieving the organizational goals. There is higher emphasis is given on team building activities
for making the performance of organization for gaining expertise knowledge of managing
operational practices of business.
I have evaluated that participation in this particular challenge is one of the best activity
in which I have involved. It has given me opportunity to analyse significant factor that can
impact the suc SS of my career. This is team based challenge in which I was responsible for
preparing financial budget. I came to know that have good communicational skill which has
helped me to coordinate with other participates for delivering results in effectual manner. My
team was presenting branding related part of a company in which I have realized that there is
lacking of time management skill in me. This ye to non efficiency of excel utilization k has
resulted in providing delay results. In my opinion, pale of significant contribution in team
performance by properly coordinating and managing my role sand responsibilities. The

apprentice challenge has allowed me to pals, strategies regarding financial and operational
practices which are crucial for smooth functioning business practices.
I have evaluated that the action plan I need to undertake in order to improve my time
management skill which comprises taking participation in related activities to get more
experience regarding the same. Setting goals at initials stage can help in getting clarity of priority
eased action so that meeting deadlines can deco possible (Hughes and Saiva, 2021). In addition
to this, I can indulge into online courses which can provide me more guidance regarding the
factors that are essential to keep in mind for managing activities inefficient manner. Time
management skill is important in order to have the better knowledge of managing practices in
apprentice challenge. The another lacking area that I have found is lower efficiency in using
excel which is one of the most important skill in current era. The action plan that I can
implement for improving my excel related skill comprises taking tutorial from professionals,
watching sample based questions practically, etc. Getting comfortable with each challenge can
allow me to work effectively with this particular software.
Presentation challenge is another activity held in university that was conducted in most
professional level. In my opinion, the activity was concerned with sharing knowledge and
information on particular topic for making audience aware of taking about the subject matter.
This was basically associated with concentrating on branding, financial, operational activities,
market performance, competitors position, etc. so that deeper insights about the topic can be
given. It was held on bigger platform in which large number in which along with me large
number of students participated. Each student has given single topic so that larger area of
knowledge can be evaluated for having better knowledge and processing. This challenge as
compare to other is quite difficult as it put a lot of pressure on me to perform effectively in term
of presenting my ideas and thoughts via advance technologies. During this activity, I had
developed time management skill, which cater unpredicted benefits to me. It can be said that
time management is considered as one of those skills that individual seek to develop and use in
the recent time as well as future. As it benefit everyone in term of focusing one and giving time
in the context of personal life along with professional career.
Just like above T-shirt challenge, also affect learning and development efficiency of
individual candidate like me. This activity may also hold within education organization, in which
I had taken part and obtain chance to develop specific competence and that is team working. I

had effective communication skill that allow me to communicate with other people in
influencing manner, but I had not posses great knowledge about team work. When t-shirt
challenge organize within institute, I get opportunity to work with other learners and develop
team working skill, which help me to be a good group member who can support other students to
achieve their set aim and objectives. During t shirt challenge I have tasked to perform with other
learners to complete this task on time without any mistake. It provides me a change work with
few members who had set of effective skills. Through which activity I had developed teamwork
competence, which provide unexpected benefits to me currently and in the future. As I am
capable to communicate with individual person, I work really hard to achieve set aim and grab
the key benefit of t-shirt challenge.
Skill that I had developed during process of current challenge will benefit in later as well.
For example, it contributes to reduce stress of work pressure and drive the attention towards
developing my understanding regarding other competencies in effective manner which I lack.
Development of teamwork skill enable me to perform well with other group member and allow
collaborating with them, which is quite essential and beneficial for me as it provide opportunity
to learn new skills and enhance knowledge regarding those abilities that I don't have. It assist
creating positive working environment where people prefer to work effectively and in productive
way.

area, which is skills development. By taking part in these challenges I had developed team work,
effective communication and time management competencies. With the help of developing each
skill I feel capable and able to overcome key issues related to education in effective manner.
Skills development may provide several benefits to a person, in term of increasing their
productivity, performance and efficiency extent that made them a productive student and later a
employee. Furthermore, in the context of those skills which I do not have, I taken initiative to
develop an action plan.
