EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Apprentice, presentation and t shirt challenge helps in developing various skills including
team working, time management, business skills, communication and financial skills. By
performing these challenges helps organization in improving employees various skills internally
and externally. For completing challenges the company must encourage their staff for attaining
desired outcomes and improved performance.

INTRODUCTION
There are different types of challenges and issues accessible in the world that put
negative impact on performance and productivity of individual person, when they are conducting
activities related to academic or employment field. The current assignment will be based on three
types of challenges such as apprentice, presentation and T-shirt challenge. The report will define
reflective statement based on skills' development. Furthermore, lastly the study will also justify
action plan that aid to develop certain competencies over the next 3 years at academic institute in
form of reflection.
MAIN BODY
Apprentice and Presentation Challenges and skills gained from these challenges
Communication skills: Apprenticeship challenge and presentation challenge has helped
me in developing good communication skills, as by interacting with different employees during
performing this challenge. for transmitting right information being communicated assist in
improving and enhanced my communication. By properly speaking, with clear ideas and
transferring right message to every personnels in workplace helped in reducing stress and
improvise communication skills.
Teamwork skills : Presentation and apprenticeship challenge has improved my team
working skills, as by performing the employees in team with different role, assist in gaining
confidence and adaptability in every situation which induces better engagement while
performing in group s and encourages team working capacity (Hamdan and et.al., 2019). also,
the apprenticeship challenge encourages team working by building better understanding between
team personnel strengths of expressing and building good relation motivates team in working
better.
Time Management and meeting skills: with presentation challenge rehearsing early
about the information and material to be communicated further helped me build time
management skills for performing assigned work (Oladunjoye, 2018). Also, with the apprentice
challenge assist in managing time as it provides creative and prior solution and communicating
properly aids in meeting specific objectives within specific time and helps in time management
skills. for instance these skills was achieved in organization by giving presentation in just one
hour.

Business skills : With the help of presentation and apprenticeship challenge has
developed various corporates and competencies skills. Presentation skills has inspired me in
learning business skills by building good relations with team and help in delivering clear
information in business. It also aids in building effective researching skills, problem solving
skills, communication skills, time management skills and technical skills for operating business .
Skills gained from T-Shirt Challenge-
T-shirt's challenge is a creative way used promoting brand by t shirt. In this the enterprise
design custom t shirts which generally promotes brands. Following skills are developed by
conducting t shirt challenge :
Communication skills: Non verbal communication skills are interpreted and learned
from this challenge as promoting and selling product of various brands through t shirt (Hosen
and et.al., 2020). The logos designed by brands must be bright and attractive for capturing
attention as customer interpret message by seeing t shirt. So verbal and non-verbal skills are
learned from t shirt challenge.
Team working skill: T-shirt challenge also helped me in building team working skills, as
for designing graphics for t shirt, promoting, marketing and selling department personnel come
together for successful completing this challenge which helps in strengthening team work.
Financial skills : T shirt challenge assist me in learning various financial skills related to
marketing, advertising, printing of monogram on t shirt and also helps in assessing profits earned
from designing t shirt
Decision-making skills Was also developed with this challenge as it includes for
deciding appropriate finance required, decision regarded various channels adopted of
distribution, different colour used for monogramming enhances decision-making skills. Further
more, this challenge has also helps me in improving business skills as for printing, advertising
and branding of t shirt came in handy prices which was used for distributing t shirts to people.
Analysing each challenge from a venture angle and knowledge gained from about how ventures
actually work.
Branding-
It is quite challenging for a company to promote and advertise their brand logo,
especially t-shirt brand logo in the market, where potential customers are accessible in bulk (Oni
and et.al., 2021). Branding is defined as procedure of promoting ventures and products that they

produce to enhance the satisfactory level of customers and to increase profitability. For new T-
shirt, men and women are the target market of companies, because they tend to purchase hoodies
and other cool looks clothes. Low pricing strategy is suitable for the current product, which aid
to gain the attention of new consumer and allow management to retain existing.
Finance-
Along with other departments in the organizations, finance section play vital role in the
context of organizational success and progress. I had learned that a venture can work even better
than their rivals, just because of a finance department, among which skilled and talented as well
as experience candidates are working together and attempts to achieve strategic organizational
aims. As they are able to consider and monitor income and outflow of money from a company,
which is quite essential for them to do so appropriately and in systematic manner.
Operations-
Operations department also contribute to make a firm or venture successful, in term of
managing strategic and essential operations that allow organizations to stand competitive in a
market or sector where they had established their ventures. I had developed my understanding
about operations department effectiveness. It may give organizations chances to increase their
operational effectiveness or efficiency better than other companies that are operating in same
industry. Operations department may give an organization chance to gain competitive advantages
in bulk in term of increasing profitability, productivity, performance and sales level more than
last few years or months.
Discussion of varied themes in relation to teamwork-
Whether it is finance or operations department, individual person is accountable to work
in a team in effective manner, which enable them to achieve set goal and reach expect outcome.
It is quite essential for finance, operations and branding team members to consider specific team
development theory, which allow each of them to understand the procedure of team work and
their importance in their professional as well as personal career growth. Tuckman's model of
team formation play vital role in success of a leader in term of team formation and group work.
Forming-
According to this phase, management may attempt to form a team in effective way in
term of clearly understanding their needs and start working with them, which in return provide
desire outcomes to them at time without any issue that affect firm success.

Storming-
According to this stage, leaders and managers may encourage employees to cross the
work limitation and achieve new aim. They may take approach to accept the key challenges and
develop approaches to overcome each in effective form, which is essential.
Norming-
In the finance and branding departments, team members may play vital role to increase
organizational productivity in term of resolving key issues and differences as well as respecting
others. In this term they may take benefits of teamwork in form of forming a group.
Performing-
After passing above phases, team members reach to last one such as performing,
according to that they may take initiative to perform together and achieve mission successfully
by working in productive and profitable manner. They may engage themselves in task allocation,
challenge acceptance and other situations.

Action plan
Specific target-
My aim is to develop varied skills such as team working, decision-making,
communication, time management and more, over the next 3 years at university. I want to
develop these competencies because of obtaining chance to become a productive and best
employee in a company.
Measurable-
I want to develop my communication skill even better than the other candidates in term
of using correct form of verbal and written communications by at least 80%, which is quite
essential for me to do so. Furthermore, I tend to improve time management up to 60% within
next 3 years and also develop above skills as well.
Achievable-
In order to achieve or develop above skills, I have to consider and utilize the best
approaches. For example, I would take initiative to gain knowledge about skills development
from experience holder. I will take approach to use internet to gain desire outcomes and achieve
short, long and medium term goals.
Relevant-
It is important for me to chose and use reliable sources that aid to develop above skills
and give power to me to grow rapidly and in productive manner.
Timely-
I want to achieve my aims within next 3 years successful at university, where success
factors are accessible in bulk.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis, it has been concluded that action plan has developed the skills and
improved the key competencies of individuals, when they are taking approaches to achieved high
scores while studying in the university. They have achieved set goals and objectives by using the
effective action plan in term of overcoming the negative impact on three major challenges.
Furthermore, by summing up above discussion, it has been summarized that during each
challenge, individual candidate has developed excellent competence that they used to obtain
desire outcome in the future.
