INTRODUCTION
The report is about the three prominent challenges that are faced by students at the time
of graduation. The first challenge is apprenticeship challenge that is an important activity & also
assist in academic career in which government agencies support students in their studies so that
they can degree at the same time of job (Hofler and Thomas, 2016) . In addition to this, the test
also undertaken portfolio as well as reflection rely on the presentation challenge which required
introduction on TESCO organisation, which is a largest supermarket chain of UK. Moreover, T-
shirt challenge was also discussed as noticeable action and is associated with the improvement of
logon for the t-shirt brand undertaking monetary projections. Apart from this reflection, there is
description about Tuckman theory and an action plan is developed in order to improve the skills
and capabilities.

Apprentice Challenge
This is the first challenge and is quiet imperative and dealing with such challenge assist
students to complete their education and enhance their skills in a proper manner . LSST is
London school of science and management that provide all types of specialisation to students.
Communication skills/Emotional Intelligence: This skill plays an important role in order
to deal with apprenticeship challenge as it assist in making understanding the issue in a proper
manner.
Teamwork: One of the major skill that is required during the graduation as working in a
team brings out higher productivity and better results as well which will assist in gaining better
career opportunities in future.
Time Management and meeting skills: It is determine by me that to deal with such
challenge, it is important for me to schedule the activities according to the time as it help to
achieve objectives effectively.

Business skills and competencies developed: During my coursework and graduation, I
have gained business skills and developed competencies due to which I am able to deal with the
apprenticeship challenge in a proper manner.
TESCO Presentation Challenge
This challenge is quite prominent as it is important for a student to develop an attractive
presentation and deliver it in an effective and understandable manner. Developing presentation
about TESCO require by me to search out all the relevant and valid information about company
as it help me to deliver right and factual data to the audiences.
Communication skills/Emotional Intelligence: It is analysed by me that to deliver an
understandable presentation, communication skills plays an important role that is learnt by me
during my coursework.
Teamwork: When I have given presentation in my college, most of the task assigned in
teams. It is analysed by me that I have lack of team work skills sue to which I faced issues and is
also affected in delivering of presentation systematically.
Time Management and meeting skills: One of the important skill that is required to
develop and deliver presentation on set time period is time management skills and lack of this
skills is consider as challenge for me.
Business skills and competencies developed: It is analysed by me that delivering an
effective presentation assist me in enhancing competencies and gain business skills as well.
T-Shirt Challenge
This challenge is associated with the development of logo of the t-shirt that is attractive
and consist of some meaning as well (Heim and Holt, 2019).
Communication skills/Emotional Intelligence: It is analysed that effective communication
skill will help me to promote the t-shirt brand and logo in market in an appropriate and is
consider as challenge for me.
Teamwork: At the time of developing logo in team in order to make it attractive is a
challenge for me as it I have lack of team work skills.
Time Management and meeting skills: It is a challenge for me as executing the work of t-
shirt on time is a complex situation. It is important for me to improve my skills and schedule
activities associated with time period.

Analysis of each challenge from business perspective
Branding: I have taken these three challenges and accordingly used important business
function termed as branding. All the group members participated so that every team members
can gain knowledge about the marketing skills (Karkar-Esperat, 2018). It includes creativity
skills that assist in promoting t-shirt and aware people in market. I have learned a lot of things
about how branding take place that help in branding the t-shirt in a proper manner.
Finance: In order to deal with the challenges and execute the activities associated with it,
availability of finance is required and important as well. While dealing with the challenges and
mostly t-shirt challenge, I have faced challenges as that arise due to lack of finance. For this, it is
important for me to develop budget considering activities related with the challenge. From the
view point of business, it is important to have enough funds as it help in enhancing performance
and productivity as well.
Operations: When I deal with all three challenges effective execution of operations is
needed in order to face challenges. As per business perspective, smooth and systematic execution
of operations is vital in order to achieve objectives within stipulated time period.
Tuckman's theory
It is consider as an effective team development theory that consist of phase from the
initial to the adjourning stage of a team. Adoption of this will assist a business entity to attain
objectives and meet with the targets in an appropriately and timely (Cummins, Denney‐Wilson
and Homer, 2016). In order to deal with the three challenges, I have used these theories that
involve five stages and is given below:
Forming-: It is the first phase of team development theory and herein teams are
developed and activities are assigned to them properly. As a team leader, it is important for me to
develop effective ream and assigned them activities and responsibility as per their interest and
skills.
Storming-: It is the second stage ad herein all the group members give their opinion in
order to execute activities assigned to them. Herein, I focused on the team members relationship

so that it remain stable and do disagreements raise as it assist me in dealing with the challenges
in a proper manner.
Norming-: I have used such stage at the time of making team members ready to face
challenges and implement activities assigned to them.
Performing-: Herein, all the team members perform the activities assigned to them. In
addition to this, it also involve development of strong relationship between team members that is
required to be maintain by me.
Adjourning-: It is last phase that take place when the assigned project and task is
completed. Herein, the challenges are deal by the team members and after this they get
disbanded.
Action plan
Action plan is defined as planning of activities which outline various action to attain
objectives & different goals (Tomlinson, 2017). In addition to this, it is based on the results of
my skill analysis and evaluation and it is determined by me that I required to focus on team
working and time management. These skill will help me in both personal as well as professional
development. For this, I require to develop SMART objectives that is given below:
Specific: It state the objectives which are more probable to attain instead than non-
specific goals.
Measurable: Measuring success towards an goals allow a person to remain on track, fulfil
target deadlines & attain experience.
Achievable: Goals require to be categorised down into stages of action for preventing
being intimidating.
Realistic: The ability to achieve objective can be influenced by both personal as well as
situational influences.
Time bound: It signifies the time period in which person is willing to attain their set
targets.
My SMART objectives are:
To raise my time management skill in 4 months by participating in time bound task in
order to decline time related challenges by 15%.
To enhance team management skill in coming 3 months by the assistance of effective
participation within team activities for my professional development by 20% more.

CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it has been concluded that apprenticeship challenge is quite
successful & also assist in development of appropriate competencies undertaking the knowledge
that is required in performing activities during the degree of course work. In addition to this,
presentation challenge is also help an individual to develop attractive presentation and deliver the
information in an understandable and easy manner to audiences. In context to the T-shirt
challenge, it is undertaken as improvement of skills that are market & identified in relation to
obtain target market. In the last, development of action plan is helpful for an individual to know
about the area where they need improvement and also help in improving it by setting SMART
objectives associated with the time period.
