INTRODUCTION
The aim of the report is to demonstrate about skills and knowledge that will be required
by graduate so that it can enter graduate employment. Along with this, it is important for the
person to develop new skill or improve the existing one in order to excel in field of
profession. Moreover, I have will be opting for marketing profession after graduation as it
will contribute in developing my future. The study will discuss the current trend that it
impact on the profession and skill required in this area.

Analysis and Application
Marketing can be defined as process of selling goods and services to the customer by
using innovative ideas. It is one of the most important part of company that helps in
connecting with the customer as well as to enhance brand image in the market. Along with
this, due to pandemic many organizations was not able to earn profit so it has make use of
digital marketing. Moreover, it is the best profession for people with creative mind and good
communicating skill. In addition to this, marketing professional identifying the strategies as
well as techniques that is used to attract customers for business. Although the role of
marketing professional is to determine pricing based on product demand and supply that
contributes in maximizing firms growth, profit and market share. It also helps in product
development and to understand market trends. According to Kassirer and et.al., (2019)
marketing career can take several different direction that compromise of many activities and
opportunity for communicating with customer. There are various professional area in career
of marketing such as research, brand management, advertising, promotion and public relation.
As per the view of Fanelli and Nadeau, (2021) business is changing day by day and
it is becoming challenging for the organization to keep up with the trend. Although it is
difficult for business to keep up with innovation all across the marketing channels and
shifting through endless flow of content. The aim of marketing sector is to provide customer
with more competitive market nature so that can be prepared with future. Moreover, Di
Gregorio and et.al., (2019) has stated that B2B companies have been shifted to marketing
communication through help of digital marketing and it makes use of various channels and
approach to engage with audience. Along with this, Mohamed and Diab, (2021) has defined
about the new trends going on ion the marketing profession such as Mobilization that means

customer can easily share content through their cell phone and it is most significant for trend
that B2B marketers are rapidly adjusting. Thus, all the digital assets need to be mobilized so
that marketing professional can get engage with their audience. The most used device for
sharing content is smartphone, tablets and laptops. The n another approach that has been used
by marketing professional is marketing automation that basically means reduction of duplicate
content all across the digital channels to reduce marketing time for other initiatives. Along
with this, it is one of the content centric approach to marketing and popular strategy for
consumer marketing as well as to increase the sales of firm by delivery relevant content. The
organization can make use of advance digital tool to identify copy content and it is very easy
to implement as well as impact positively on ROI and team moral.
According to author Madhlom, (2021) globalisation has impacted positively on their
product and enhancing business performance. Along with this, It has increased the market
area for B2B company by breaking down the border between the countries as well as allow
firm in reaching customer globally. Although large market area contributes in increasing the
overall sales for the businesses while consumer can get benefit from full product variety and
competitive pricing. Moreover, due to increase in market area by globalisation businesses
must be careful and narrow the focus in B2B marketing (Robinson and et.al., 2019). Along
with this, technology has transformed marketing profession and made it more personalized as
well as immersive for targeted customer. Technology like mobilization has allowed company
to share their content from anywhere and on one click. It will also contribute in connecting
with customer in effective manner. It has changed the way of doing marketing and it has open
new paths for consumer behaviour, gathering information, building relationship and building
sales. Although with help of technology has allowed brands to be no longer focus on
customer satisfaction with the products but rather it focuses on consumer personal
satisfaction by providing them solution of issues faced by them. In addition to this, with help
of technology company is able to build good benefits and experience with their targeted
audience.
Moreover, Smith, (2019) has described that for marketing profession an individual
should have both technical and inter personnel skill so that it work effectively. Along with this,
I have observed in this field that communication skill play a very important role as it the
role of marketer to communicate with audience so that it can sell their product. In addition to

this, I have also observed in interview that knowledge in area of marketing is also important so
that professional can meet with the current trend of the company. Furthermore, Di Gregorio
and et.al., (2019)has defined that there are little personnel skill that need to be developed by
marketing manager such as problem solving skill so that it address current issues that is faced
by customer as well as to build the progress of company. In addition to this, manager should
also have time management skill so that it can divide it tasks into smaller units and to can give
attention to task that will result in getting greater outcome. Moreover, it should also have
leadership abilities as it will help in guiding employees on the right direction and to control
their worn actions. Along with this, it should have critical thinking and adaptability skill so
that can meet with dynamic changes. Furthermore, having personnel skill is not enough a
professional should have expertise in areas of marketing such as customer knowledge. It is
very much important for company and marketing manager should craft advertisement
effectively in order to attract them. The another area of expert that marketing professional
should have is digital technology as it will contribute in enhancing overall growth of business
in limited budget.
Evaluation
I have opted for marketing executive as I have gain knowledge regarding it by
doing internship in that area. Along with this, I also have graduation and master degree in
field of commerce. So the reason of opting this job role is that I have both practical and
theoretical knowledge regarding it hence I will able to handle this job effectively ( Hartley,
Routon and Torres, 2019). Moreover, I have required skill for this job such as I have good
communication and technical skill that will contribute in connecting with the targeted
audience. In addition to this, my creative skill will be very much suitable for this job as it
required innovative idea for marketing campaign. Moreover, this job will contribute in building
my professional growth in positive way.
Furthermore, this job is related to my profession as role of marketing executive is to give
ideas about marketing strategies that will help in leading the company growth. Moreover, the
work of marketing executives is similar to marketing manager as it have to find
innovative ideas like advertisement. In addition to this, it is related to my profession as I

will be doing advertising job in which I will make attractive advertisement so that I can attract
large customer.
Along with this, I will be guiding subordinate so that it can work hard and
effectively towards accomplishing the company goals. Moreover, this job is an opportunity
for me as it will allow me to gain experience about the ways of conducting business in
complex situation (Lysytsia and et.al., 2019). Along with this, it will also contribute in knowing
about ways to interact with the customer and how to solve the issue faced by them while
purchasing. It will also contribute in identifying factors that can affect growth of firm in
negative as well as in positive ways. Moreover, this area will also allow to build my inter
personnel skill and technical knowledge that will help in learning new things. Although
working in this area will help in building my overall work personality and this experience will
result in getting good future job.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that field of marketing is very vast in nature and
it is consisted of various activities that need to be followed by the manager. Along with this, it
also depicted about the trend that are going on marketing profession such as mobilization that
have made marketing easy. It has also described about the impact of technology and
globalization and the way it has made business effective. Lastly, the study has defined about
the key skills that is required in this profession like technical, communication, leadership as
well as experts in the area such as digitalization and customer relation is also important.
