Introduction
In today’s world of globalization and modernization, lakhs of graduates are emerging
every year. The employment opportunities for these fresh graduates are also available in
different markets and different fields. Marketing as a profession has huge prospect for fresh
employable graduates largely. As a graduate, I would like to possess certain skills and
qualities, which are sought after by the employers. These include critical thinking and
problem solving abilities, sound reasoning and decision-making capabilities. In my opinion,
leadership, teamwork and professionalism are the main factors that are necessary for a
graduate looking for employment. I have used both the primary as well as the secondary
research that are required for drafting this report. My analysis is done based on the facts
gathered by me during the research and in evaluation, which are required to secure any future
job vacancy for the profession of marketing. In my report, I aim to identify the profession of
marketing as an emerging field and an area of graduate employment. I have researched the
knowledge, skills and future trends required to undertake the profession of marketing and
identify new possibilities for a fresh graduate to enter this field. I have found that there can be
interesting positions in the marketing profession so that future employment opportunities,
such as market research analyst, marketing director, marketing manager and business
development managerand even public relations specialist can be gained.

different clients, administration. The job will also provide me with an award winning training
opportunity, and the starting salary is quite well. Therefore, as a graduate searching for
employment, this opportunity as a Sales, Quality and Marketing Assistant, can help me in
different aspects of the profession of marketing and provide me with the guidance required
for me to learn different avenues of this profession. The job of marketing professional
includes low stress level, work-life balance is also maintained and there remains solid
prospects to improve and be promoted (Holmes 2013). The good amount of salary provided
also helps in keeping me happy, and enables the training prospect of the job. As a recent
