the industry. Having the current research topic, researcher will be able to understand the
investigation in construction trends that is adding growth to different businesses.

This part of research reflects the importance of choosing this topic and developing the

With growth in developing trends and technologies, demands are increased by government and
also for customers to have better infrastructure in buildings. However, one of the aims for
research project is based on analysing efficient solutions for Walker construction that will help in

two types of research that include qualitative and quantitative. The selection of data based on the
information that is collected within the entire study. Quantitative data includes data collection on
the basis of collecting numerical information and qualitative research types include data
collection is based on theoretical data Taylor et.al. (2015). Current research is based on meeting
with several objectives of the research that means understanding the research in such a manner
that are based on developing greater knowledge regarding the research. Current research topics is
of objective in nature that means researcher will use qualitative aspects of the research as no
much numeric data is collected for presenting the outcomes the research.
Research design
It includes analysing the suitable design that are based on answering different types of questions
and analysing the different types of objectives for conducting the research. Research designs are
basically three types that include exploratory research design, explanatory research, descriptive
research design, etc but for conducting the current study, researcher has used exploratory design.
This choice is effective for researcher as suitable criteria is set for conducting the study and all
the preliminary facts are avoided Smith (2015). This will help researcher to analyse the impact of
Green technology on development and growth of construction sector. In addition, researcher
needs effective support of team and market research for carrying out the entire investigation.
Research approach
It guides the researcher to complete the study on the basis of research questions and delivering
out effective outcomes and carrying out interpretation successfully. There are basically two kinds
of approaches for carrying out the entire research that includes deductive and inductive.
Deductive approach for conducting the entire research includes evaluation of the hypotheses that
is arrived with the research questions Sekaran and Bougie, (2016). In addition, inductive
approach includes introduction of the hypothesis that are carried out by giving focus on the
mainly research questions. In addition, current research is based on carrying out the research on

Data collection
There are different types of methods for collection of data that includes using both primary and
secondary source. Primary data collections include collection of raw data and fresh collection
that includes effective use of Interview and questionnaire techniques that includes analysing the
different views of the respondents. Secondary collection of data includes collecting stores and
usable data that are again used for different purpose. However, secondary data is collected with
the help of books, journals, articles, internet websites, etc. This kind of data might be used earlier
by different kinds of researcher for conducting different topics of the research projects Guerra
et.al. (2015).
However, with respect to the current study researcher will use both the techniques of research
that includes both primary and secondary research. For conducting the secondary research, it is
used to understand the theoretical part of the research such as developing of Green technology
within the construction industry and its growing trends. In addition, primary research is used for
analysing the views of the respondents regarding the concept of green technology and also for its
effective implementation within the research Silverman, (2016). Further the researcher will be
able to develop the greater understanding of the research that includes taking in consideration the
current research topic. Each method is collected with having deep knowledge about the research
topic and also about use of each method.
Sampling of data
For the effective purpose of data collection, questionnaire is used that include containing format
of the direct questions that are structured right in order and answers are received to reach to
accurate conclusions. Questionnaire is offered to 50 respondents of the walker construction that
include random choice of respondents that include engineers, architectures, investors, managers,
design and innovation team and also senior management of the business. Collection of the data
will help to analyse that what are the views of the respondents with implementing Green
technology in the business that will further be used in different construction projects.

It is important to consider the views of respondents that will measure out the sustainability of the
Green technology that is needed to be applied in the business. In addition, for conducting the
research respondents will be contacted in the advance through emails and ways for conducting
the collection of data Merriam (2015). Respondents must have their own buildings that will also
help to analyse the views of the respect of the opinion of the customers and target is based on
meeting with the knowledge of stakeholders, etc.

Data analysis is based on the effective collection of data that will present the corrective outcomes
of the research. In addition, grounded theory is effectively used for presenting the suitable data
analysis Glaser and Strauss, (2017). It includes different stages that include collection of data to
drive accurate results. With effective use of tables, graphs and chart the data will be presented
that includes analysing the views of the respondents. It includes presenting suitable outcomes
and giving recommendations that will help in developing better understanding on the answers
that are given by the respondents.
