AI Summary
This report delves into the pressing issues of global warming, greenhouse gases, and their impact on the environment, particularly focusing on the case of India. It begins by defining greenhouse gases and elucidating their contribution to global warming, emphasizing the roles of carbon dioxide and methane. The report then identifies major greenhouse gas-producing countries and explores the economic, security, and political challenges associated with these emissions. It further investigates the causes of greenhouse gases, such as burning fossil fuels, and proposes potential solutions, including energy conservation, recycling, and planting trees. The report also examines the direct relationship between population control and greenhouse gas emissions, highlighting the need for effective measures to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change. Finally, the report provides a comprehensive analysis of the complex issues related to global warming and its implications for India, including the need for policy changes to address the challenges.

Introduction
There are major issues which have been seen in the United Nations like increasing global
population, global warming, climate change, etc. It is considered that major changes which are
occurring in the United Nations is due to the increasing population only as the human
consumption only leads to the greenhouse gases (Herndon, 2018). The greenhouse impact was
increasing due to the burning of the fossil fuels like oil, coal nod natural gas. Growing global
population leads to the soil erosion, deforestation, farming, etc. so these were the only major
issues which were occurring in the Unites stated. This report is prepared in regards with the
developing country India. In this report the issues related to global warming, greenhouse effects,
the challenges faced through this emission will be addressed.
Section: 1
What are greenhouse gases?
The molecules which easily trap the heat of the atmosphere in the air are the greenhouse
gases. The major greenhouse gases are methane, water vapor, ozone, carbon dioxide, sulphur
hexafluoride, nitrous oxide and the hydro fluro carbons. In the climate of the Earth two gases
plays the major role which is carbon dioxide and methane. This gases Rae contributing to the
global warming and affecting the environment badly (Tarlach. 2018). These gases absorbed the
infrared radiation and contribute the greenhouse effect on the planet.
How do greenhouse gases contribute to global warming?
Greenhouse gases which are stated above absorb the heat and trap the radiation which
results in the warming of the climate from earth towards the space. The carbon dioxide is the
major responsible gases which contribute towards the global warming as it contributes the
highest. There are many human activities which are done with the help of the methane gas such
as livestock, natural gas, sewage treatment, etc. which is increasing the effect on the global
warming as it produces the black carbon (Herndon, 2018).

Section: 2
Which countries produce the most greenhouse gases?
China, U.S., India, Japan, the Russian Federation is the major country to produce
greenhouse gases as they produce the most carbon dioxide (McKibben, 2018). The major
pollution countries in the world are the United States, china, japan, Russia, India as they have the
biggest industrial and commercial power. China’s population is highest and major greenhouse
gas is impacted by the human only so China is the major country which is contributing to the
highest greenhouse gases. China contributes the highest to carbon dioxide emissions and the
biggest culprit for this burning coal, notably, electricity consumption, etc.
What are the economic challenges of these emissions?
The climatic change in India is creating many challenges for the country and affecting the
economy. Due to the increase in the greenhouse effect, pollution was increasing in India and it
was affecting the health of humans (Cook, et al., 2016). In Delhi, there is huge pollution and due
to these people are mitigating to the different states and it was affecting the economy. The major
emission comes from energy production in India so it was creating the issue as soon the
electricity problem will have occurred in the economy. It was reported that India's per capita
emission of greenhouse gases is 1.73 and it was due to the carbon dioxide majorly which was
gradually increasing the heating and causes many issues due to the climatic change.
What are the security challenges of these emissions?
The major security challenge was to reduce the greenhouse gases in the country India so
that the shortages can be sorted. The biggest challenge India faces was to reduce the use of
greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane and other energy gases so that security to climate
can be maintained (LeDoux. et al., 2018). There are many emergencies happens in relation to a
climate like a flood, drought, etc. so the security has to maintain. The ice over the mountains in
India is melting due to the rapid increase in heating so the security is also needed at the overseas
to protect the climate.

What are the political challenges of these emissions?
The political parties in India now start taking action toward climate change. Earlier they
used to ignore the effects of that but now as the negative impact of the greenhouse gases is
energy increasing and causing harm to the economy the political parties have started certain
actions to protect them (Goodwin and Walmsley, 2010). Climate change is extremely vulnerable
as increasing heatwaves in the country India causes migration, drought and many other things.
The Indian citizens demand climate change so the Indian national congress and BJP have started
talking about climate issues.
Section: 3
Name two causes of greenhouse gases.
The major two causes of greenhouse gases are the burning of the coal which contains the
carbon and the other is man-made activities which cause the burning of fossil fuels. There are
many factories, industries and even in the household activities also coals are used and it affects
the environment badly (Latake, et al., 2015). The carbon is contained in fossil fuel which is done
through livestock, agricultural activities and many others so it was causing climate change. The
burning of fossil fuels and coal holds more heat in the air which causes carbon dioxide.
What are the potential solutions to address each of the causes you identified?
The solution to address such issues is conserving energy so that the use of fossil fuels can
be declined. The major products should be reused instead of discarding them so that no more
carbons will be raised in the air (Gitlitz et al., 2018). The material which can be recycled should
be done properly so that the burning of the coal can be reduced. More trees should be planted,
conserve the use of electrical items and less pollution should be done through the vehicles to
reduce the use of fossil fuels and coal.
What is the relationship between population control and greenhouse gas emissions?
There is a direct relationship between population control and greenhouse gas emissions.
As the population is increasing rapidly so the effect of the greenhouse gases is also increasing.
Earlier there was no issue related to climate change because there were a few populations living
in the country. The climate-related impacts are more vulnerable as increasing population growth

entails the more emissions (Lister and Garcia, 2018). If the population will be controlled
effectively then the greenhouse gas can be emitted as the use of fossil fuel and coal can be
reduced. The more the population the more energy is consumed and causes much carbon
pollution.
Conclusion
India is a developing country so there are many global and climatic issues through which
the country is facing. The major issues were related to global warming which was created in the
environment through the use of the greenhouse carbons. There are many United Nations who are
causing greenhouse gases such as China, U.S., India, etc. but the major producer of greenhouse
gases is China. In India, the economic challenge was huge pollution and due to this people are
mitigating to the different states which were impacting the country's economic rate. There are
many emergencies happens in relation to a climate like a flood, drought, etc. so the security has
to maintained in India which is quite challenging. The political challenges were to make the new
policies by the political parties to raise the concern related to climate change. The major cause of
greenhouse gases is the excessive use of fossil fuels and coals so this can be emitted by reusing
and recycling the product which has been determined in this report.
