Introduction
Project Management is one the most essential part of the management. The project
management is a process of doing some work, task or objective in the given period. It is
about achieving the goals for the organization using different skills and techniques. It is
depending on the project manager that how he cooperates with his employees and takes the
organization to success. In the whole process of management, the project manager learns so
many things for the betterment of the company and also spread the same knowledge with his
employees. Sometimes project manager has to take a risk and pre-plan everything for the
upcoming hurdles. And this problem includes project time, resources scope, communication,
project risk, and challenges, etc. In this assessment the project of Greggs Plc, India is taken
into consideration. Because of rising obesity levels Greggs plc presenting a scope of
Sourdough pasties which are less than four hundred calories. The Balanced Choice Bakes
are in Greggs' sound Balanced Choice range.

P1 Devise project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario.
To run a successful business is it important to make an aim first. A project manager already
knows about his objectives according to his aim. A Project Manager decides the aim of
project with object on certain time period, needs to be completed. Its management is needed
for good results .Here the project manager is planning to open a chain of bakeries called
“Greggs Plc” in India (Larson & Gray, 2017). The objectives of the project are:
Project’s Aim
The "Greggs Plc" bakery is opened in India. The aim is to open as many as chains of this
bakery in India so it can make a brand by providing the good quality and quantity of food in
an affordable price i.e., Sourdough pasties.
Project’s Objectives
The manager of the company has to ensure to meet all the requirements of this project. As the
cost of this project and the resources needed for this project. For all this, the manager has to
do an analysis of the whole food market about the customer's choice and their behavior and
also check out the competitors to take the advantage of competitive market (Mir &
Pinnington, 2014).
He collected information from market, place of attraction for bakery, promotional activities
that would be like by people and area of interest in budget of project. So before taking the
corporate social responsibilities, the manager has to check out all the hurdles which can come
in between the aim.
