Identification of Challenges Faced in Group-Assessment
While we were working on a group assessment, there were few challenges which was
faced by us which were encountered by me during the completion of the tasks.
Firstly, struggling was the main issue which was being faced by me while working in
the team in which me along with my team members were taking too much time in deciding
the different roles which will be played by the different group members. This took a lot of
time and the project work got late to be started as well.
Secondly, there were few members in the group who were dominating in nature and
they wanted their viewpoints to be followed. On the other hand, there were few individuals
who rarely spoke in the entire assessment as they were facing different kinds of difficulties in
conversing with the other group members in an efficient manner.
Thirdly, there were different tangents along with digressions wherein this was being
found that there were few individuals who started telling and reciting the interesting stories
which created huge obstacle on completion of the tasks. Therefore, due to the same, this acted
as the major obstacle in finishing the entire tasks effectively as well.
Lastly, the group members were not sure about the strategic solutions which could be
suitably the answer to the question. This created a major obstacle in moving and progressing
ahead and this affected the overall morale of the different employees as well.
Recommendations
There are different recommendations which can be provided as this will help in
avoiding the circumstances and improve the overall effectiveness in an appropriate manner as

well. I feel that in order to improve the overall project assessment, the different
recommendations are as follows:
In order to avoid the various kinds of delays in the group assessment, at the initial
level there are few tactics which could be helpful in managing and accomplishing the goals.
Firstly, collection of the different resources and data which will be helpful for us in moving
forward with the assessment and completing the same successfully.
Secondly, in order to avoid digression, this is essential in nature to stick with the
actual theme of the entire discussion which will help us in summarizing wherein the
discussion started and this will be successful in completion of the tasks on time as well.
Moreover, when the group members feel that the assessment is not making any kind of
progress, then the individuals can look into the different aspects which was providing them
with different opportunities to make exceptional progress in the tasks.
Furthermore, the different talkative individuals in the group can be discouraged, the
humor can be reduced. Additionally, the individuals who do not speak much in the group
discussion, there can be discussion and the individuals can be provided with the major
opportunity to speak relating to the discussion topic and this will help in meeting the different
demands effectively.
These are the different recommendations which can be taken into consideration by us
which will help us in managing the tasks effectively and without much issues.
