Critical Reflection
Our understanding of the project as dependent though the discussion we held as a group.
We debated on various topics by interacting among ourselves. We relied on previous studies that
focus on management and the organization as a whole. We settled on a framework that would
enable us to understand more about organizations. Therefore, we built our discussions and
presentations by referring to existing theories. Our study aimed at various strategies that can
combat the problem of inconsistent epistemology, broken organizational learning, and a poor
knowledge management system.
working as a team, for purposes of this project, greatly benefitted us in our learning
process. First, we were able to generate a variety of points of view and secondly, it allowed us to
combine our different backgrounds thus bringing special knowledge, skills, and knowledge.
Therefore, working as a group presented us with an opportunity of teaching each other as well as
a structured experience that would help us in the future to apply the skills professionally.
Essentially, our group was formed for the purpose of completing a project that south to
analyze an organization’s various strategies that can combat the problem of inconsistent
epistemology, broken organizational learning, and a poor knowledge management system. This
report’s purpose is to reflect on our experience regarding the group project. Specifically, the
report discusses our experience regarding the formation of our group work organization and how
we manage med to complete our assignment.
Formation of the Group
This was the first stage of the project. It was a requirement that we form a group and
members assigned to different tasks. Although an instructor can assign groups to members, we

formed our own group, which consisted of five members. Although we were familiar with each
other, we had to introduce ourselves as a formality. Thereafter, we chose a group leader who
would be instrumental in communicating with the rest of the group members thus ensuring there
were clarity and a smooth way of doing the assignment. Also, we engaged in several group
discussions about the project at hand and everybody had to share their ideas on the same.
Work Organization
At first, after group formation, we were faced with the challenge of organizing work so as
to complete the project on time. The first stage involved dividing tasks into small pieces and
assigning these sections to each member of the group. In order to complete the task in time, we
developed a timeline for each task. This enabled group members to know who was to do a given
task and by what time.
Conclusion
What mattered most, at the end of the group, was what we had already learned. While
working on the project, we were tested by situations that kept on cropping up. Harris (2013)
asserts that the performance of teams is normally influenced by the type of persons who make up
the group. The most important aspect of our project was teamwork. Had we not worked as a
team, we would not have successfully completed the project
