Main body
The group presentation is just a condition where we have to work with various
peoples, and accept their opinions and views to make the presentation successful. I
think that if we work collectively the team communication increases, knowledge
become varied and the innovation level of the presentation is high. The participation
of each and every member is important and effective communication can build
relationship and bonding between group members and they can perform in a good
team work (Belbin.com, 2019)
According to my knowledge there are four types of presentation which can be
applied in a group presentation, they are informative speeches, demonstrative
speeches, persuasive speeches and inspirational speeches. The informative
presentations are brief and it to the exact point, it is used to make a transparent and
clear presentation so the spectators can understand the type of the instructional
presentations are to direct something appropriately. I will use the informative
presentation in my group presentation as it will help in making. The theories which
will apply in making the group presentation and it will make the presentation more
effective. The theory is Belbin theory as it is more effective divided their work in nine
team roles in scrutinising a team work and the make the team; divide their work
equally to complete their work in time.
Belbin theory was developed by Dr Meredith Belbin who studied the factors of team
work for years and developed this theory so that we can apply it in any spheres of
life to make out work easier and systematic. The team role generally refers to the
distribution of work among the expertise so that they can achieve their target .He
have classified the theory according to the interrelation between team members
behaviours and quality and have divided their work in nine team roles.
The nine team roles are the shaper, implementer, resource investigator, team
worker, coordinator, plant, monitor evaluator, specialist and the finisher. The
resource investigator finds new innovative ideas to apply for the better performance
of the team. The teamwork provides the connection between the team members and
building up their relationships to make their work fruitful. I will do the same in making
