REFLECTIVE
Group presentation is the way by which two or more than two people communicate
information, thoughts, ideas and statistics on the particular subject or issue. When an individual
is giving group presentation, at that time, people need to make lot of careful research, practice
and note making. When the people are giving the group presentation, the key advantage they
have is that they can present their views all together and the workload is being distributed. I have
been giving the group presentation, from that I have able to learn the different skills and
knowledge. With this group presentation, I have analysed the different things that went well and
what have not being went well (Rauf, 2017). Before I have started my presentation, I need to
plan t timing of our presentation. I was aware that the presentation can be of 20 minute
maximum. As I have started planning my presentation, it went for 25 minutes. I have analysed
that I need to focus on planning part and this is the thing which have not been went well in the
presentation.
As the planning has been done, I need to have proper knowledge and information about
the subject, then only, I can communicate the information to the people. If wrong information is
being collected, then it can present wrong image about the group. The thing which went well is
that we all have collected useful information and it has made an effective and influential
presentation. Other than that, the thing which has been went well is that the presentation has
good visuals such as images and video. It is very important for the presentation to include
(Osterhout and Border, 2017). My contribution in this presentation was regarding the visuals. I
have collected all the images and videos which are related to the subject and the audience like
and appreciate the same. Other than that group have founded that structure of presentation plays
a significant part in communication and the presentation. I had a problem with this in my
presentation. My presentation was poorly structured and therefore, hard to follow. For future
presentations, I will try to pick a structure that will suit my topic.
Other problem which I face while giving the presentation is that I was nervous and this
was being communicated from my gestures and postures. While giving the presentation, I need
to focuses my gestures communicate that I am confident and have full knowledge about the
presentation and subject. Group members have also contributed well, they have boosted my
confidence when I was feeling nervous. Other than that, they have also communicated lot of
