The mind of an individual is a complex structure that reacts to the activities that happen
around him. The mind controls the actions of the human beings and is a major factor
influencing the psychological activities that affect the behavioral patterns. The desire to lead
the actions of the man. Growth in the mindset is a set of belief that the human intelligence is
an attribute that can be developed that provides a desire of learning, the tendency to accept
changes and the ability to accept challenges that occur in human life (Dweck, 2015). The
concept of success is also influenced by the success of others. It acts as a motivation for the
individuals for their betterment and achieve a name for themselves. The human mind makes
the individual believe in his capabilities and that he is capable of bringing the change. Self-
belief is a major tool that helps in the determining an individual’s success. The tendency to
have confidence in oneself helps in achieving better results. The individuals should always be
ready to adapt to the changes and face the challenges that arise. The ability to accept the
changes as well as the challenges helps in the growth of mindset. The lessons an individual
learns by facing all the opposing situations makes him ready to face adverse situations. All
these abilities help in achieving success in life (Hochanadel & Finamore, 2015).
Resilience is the ability of human mind to make the individual able to revert back
from adverse situations and challenges that occur in the life of an individual (Lyons,
Schweitzer & Ng, 2015). The capability of an individual to deal with his emotion that arise
from the situations lead us to attain self-control. The features of an individual to stay happy
and manage stress provides an insight that he possess a resilient attitude towards life. The
theories help in understanding that happiness and well-being of an individual help in
developing resilience. Psychologists provide that positive emotions help in the
accomplishment of goals that leads in developing a positive attitude (Wimmer Totty, 2016).
The ability to express gratitude and accept personal mistakes and using them for the
enhancement of personal abilities help in the growth of positive mindset. The activities that
