Current job description and specification of the chosen company:
I have applied for the manager in the healthcare company. The chief objective in this
company is to deliver the service to the customers or patients within time in one hand maintain
the high quality of service on the other hand. This is due to the fact that this company is highly
reputed for its high-quality health care service with much less time and expense. Under me, there
is a team of six members. Therefore, all of their needs in doing the tasks has to be properly
supplied. I had to play the responsibilities to maintain coordination of my team members so that
they can effectively contribute in the healthcare services. As the healthcare sector of the UK is
much concentrated, the dependency of the customers on the companies are much higher. This is
the reason why I had to develop skills for effective service process so that my team can perform
well towards reaching the business goal. However, the higher authority supports the management
and allow to share ideas in the decision-making process.
Identify a professional qualification you could acquire alongside your degree:
As the field of healthcare administration management is constantly growing, more people
are taking interest in entering this field. In order to become a proper healthcare manager, I need
to develop some very important skills so that these professional skills can help me to reach the
goal within limited time and effort. To be considered for job as a manager I need proper
academic training and some experience in the healthcare sector. I need to develop excellent
communication skills so that I can convey my understanding to the others more specifically to
the clients as well as the other team members. In working in an organization, I need to develop

adaptability and flexibility for fitting myself in the organizational setting. With proper vision and
goals determined, I can develop flexibility in my team so that the team members can face any
situation or challenges with effective solution. To be a good manager in the healthcare sector in
the market of the UK, I need to develop dependability and good professional judgment ability
otherwise I cannot survive the high competition in the present market. The employers also look
for individuals with a strong character who will commit to their healthcare organization. As a
manager, I must take a leadership role that others can follow.
To what extent does your CV and LinkedIn profile demonstrate you have the essential and
desirable skills for the job?
I have performed the duty of Health Care Assistant, Health Care Assistant or Domiciliary
Support Worker, Support Worker and Health Care Assistant in various organizations. I have
worked under the supervision and direction of qualified nursing staff. I have played
responsibilities to provide care for, support and provide information to the patients and their
families. I can effectively look after the physical comfort of patients by helping them in
supporting them physically. I have been a key worker for serving some of the clients, where I
used to carry out risk assessment, care planning, review meetings with family, support agencies
and other multi-disciplinary in care giving process.

Reflection on the interview process on STAR method
Q.1: What is the best method of delivering a successful project
S (Situation) I had taken apart in the educational events during my studies of this
course. In these events I have coordinated this entire project with only

12 team members
T (Task) My task in this agency was to deal with the team members effectively
and conduct al the responsibilities of manager.
A (Action) As an includer and relator, I have effectively developed effective
relations with my team members and encouraged them. I worked
ethically and faced all the issues honestly though out the project span.
R (Result) I showed excellent leadership skill to manage the entire event
successfully. After the completion of the project, I gained a positive
feedback from all the team members. I gain success for maintaining
coordination in every section of this event and everyone performing
well.

Skills do you need for further development
Through this module I have learnt the skills I will need to be a perfect manager operating
in the healthcare sector of the UK. Through this course works, I have effectively identified
several strengths as well as weaknesses which can help me to improve my personal along with
professional career. Therefore, this can be concluded that I need to take part in some
communication training which can help me to develop my flexibility as well as adaptability
(Cheruvelil et al.2014). I must grow the effective competencies so that I can match me up with
advancement of technology in future. This will help me to measure the employee’s performances

easily as well as effectively. In addition to this, I need to enhance emotional intelligence and
