Introduction
Project planning is a part of project management which is related with the following
schedule, plan and procedure for the best output of result. This discussion is relates with the
planning to build a new simple and traditional domestic guest house accommodation. The
discussion includes setting up of the site, Ground work, sub-structure, super-structure and the
finishing to be made (Wilson, 2019).
Construction management
The role of construction management involves an oversight of building projects. It is a
duty and responsibility of the construction manager to restructure the building, making of an
accommodation, facilitate budgets, maintain schedules and keep a proper check on the duties of
the workers as well. The role of construction manager in making of a new building is very
effective and appropriate.
Setting up site
A good project plan or building of a new guest house accommodation comprises with a
series of the task, a timeline and a budget of needed resources and the materials. The main
criteria is to understand about the main purpos3e of the site and the objectives so that it will help
in achieving the best output or result. A site creation process include setting of the timeline
which refers to the reasonable amount of time for the unforeseen problems, having a site
rendering technology and setting of a timeline helps to guide the process and enables to change
the plan if it is needed (Camilleri, 2018).
Groundwork
It refers to the work which is done to prepare the sub-surfaces for the start of the
construction work. Aside for the demolition and or site enabling work needs to be carried out, it
can be suggested that for any construction work done or for any making of a building.
Groundwork is one of the first stage of construction project and also, it may include the ground
construction.
Sub-structure
It includes the basic room infrastructure and the sizes of the rooms. The current rooms
must be well measured and meet up with the expectations that have been relied on it. IT is quiet

important to make sure that it will be enough consistent with the work done and the process of
well furnished lifestyle of the people. An architecture style also includes self building bried on
the basis of traditional and contemporary houses. As the project chosen, that the discussion
involves a building of a traditional house. The important element which is included in the self
build brief involves heating strategy and the importance of the energy efficiency (Hellman and
van Voorst, 2018).
The budget is the main outline of building a new traditional accommodation. The amount
of money is a major element in building of the effective accommodation(de and Costa, 2019).
Superstructure
It includes lots of elements such as sketches, the sketch up model, physical models and
and the pin interest board. It can be possibly allowed to have a Sketch Up software which will
help in creating a new building and view it in the 3D. One of the important thing which needs to
be taken into the consideration after building of a traditional guest house accommodation is
effective ideas of an interior designing. The interior designing generally refers to the rooms
which are well furnished, with a single bed, mattress, desk, wardrobe, desk lamb and the chair.
The washing machines, dryers and the cloth lines are also included in the traditional community
(Douay, 2018).
Finishing of the construction work
The acquisition of the construction facility usually represent capital investment, a private
corporation or public agency. From the good perspective of an owner, the project lifecycle for
the constructive facility are essentially a project conceived to meet the market demands on needs
in a timely fashion. One of the most important thing which needs to be taken into the
consideration is the legal requirements because the owner of the facilities naturally want legal
protection and for all the activities including the raw material and resources. Legal
responsibilities includes mitigation of the conflicts and the government regulations so that the
traditional accommodation will be made much more specifically.
Conclusion
The above discussion includes the role of construction manager to plan a new traditional
guest house accommodation. In the project life cycle, there is a need to have proper way of
creation and with the innovation of different ideas so that the accommodation will be made

appropriately. There is a need to understand about the legal authorities and government rules
and regulations so that the owner of the accommodation will not be going to face any problem.
