For the purpose of extending the business of ‘You Can Fit In’ the CEO of the company, Adam
Apple has decided to implement some services in the new Super Centre, which can help the
company to gain a larger amount of business benefits. CEO has decided some implement some
of the ideas in the new Centre like opening a healthy snack and smoothie bar for all the fitness
freaks which can enjoy the taste without being conscious for their health. The main reason
behind opening the Super Centre at Gold Coast is due to the fact that many tourists visit the Gold
Coast region. So opening a Centre at the location where a large number of tourist visits will
ultimately increase the business of the company. An idea has been given that in the new branch
there will be a facility of paying an hourly basis by keeping in mind tourist visitors as the
customers. There is a need to update the current ‘OnAllAccount’ system that is payment access
and another access system in the currently running branches. Though the system is working
properly and there is a problem with this access system, still the CEO feels that more
technological advancements should be implemented in the access system of the new Gold Coast
branch.
The ‘You Can Fit In’ always hires a company named Hire gates for the purpose of implementing
new software systems in all the branches of the company. So for installing a new access system
in the Gold coast Centre, all the work related to the information system and software
development has been given to Hire Gates. The has also decided to appoint an IT consultant who
can give the best advice regarding the software development for the company. An IT consultant
expert Nina has been appointed for this job. For implementing the system in a better way, Nina
has decided to understand the currently running system so that she can incorporate the best
features in the new system for gaining better benefits. (Leśniewska, 2014)
By analyzing all the aspects, it has been decided that there will be a division between the type of
customers as full-time customers and hourly customers. There will be different schemes for both
types of customers. The full-time customers can utilize the fitness program facility and other
super Centre offers on a regular basis and they can pay on a regular interval of time. While the
hourly customers must have to pay as per the hourly basis for utilizing all the facilities of the
company.
Talking about the functionality of the new information system, the new information system will
provide 24x7 customer support using online payment system which was not present in the old
system. This allows the customers to make faster payment checkout which is beneficial for both
customers and for the company workers. If the new system will be successful then the system
can also be implemented in all the other branches so that more profit can be earned. The web-
based service of the new information system is one the best feature of newly designed
information system. So with a better decision support system, the company can take better
decisions which can result in better growth for the company. (Ghaffarzadeh, 2018).
