INTRODUCTION
In order to compete in today’s intensely competitive business industry, it is very
important for businesses to establish healthy and friendly relationships with all the stakeholders
involved in the business. By establishing healthy relationships with all the stakeholders,
businesses increase their chances to succeed in a disruptive environment and come up with
strategies that help increase he revenue and clientele of the business. This report will highlight
the ways in which business analytics can be used to effectively develop strategies to help
Gymology, a newly opened gym oriented fitness company by focusing on building client
friendly relationships and finding network opportunities for the open EXPO initiative which
might benefit the company (Tuzunkan, 2018).
MAIN BODY
Role-play
The following role-play has been initiated between me, James Brett and Sally McDonald
regarding the wide variety of research which has been conducted in this report.
Me: I have identified various opportunities for networking the business of Gymology some of
which I will tell you all in detail. The first being Doherty gym which is a very peaceful and
serene fitness organization and can help the company achieve partners for charity and open expo
social work. The other being orange theory fitness which is a very technologically advanced gym
which has a cutting edge CRM system which the company can benefit from learning and
integrating. The company also has a great networking chance with anytime fitness which will
increase the public image of the company as the brand is very popular on social media and
rubbing arms off such a company in an open expo can benefit from boosted sales. City club
health and fitness centre is also a great company to network with and the e-mails for potential
collaborations have already been sent (Kenyon, 2020).
Sally: What are the potential industry barriers regarding business relationships?

James: What formal networks have we joined?
Me: Some of the major barriers regarding the business relationships which I have noticed and
they majorly include the problem of managing complex number of relationships which
businesses and especially gyms fear that some relationships might be too tough to manage.
Another major barrier is trust as gyms and fitness centres keep their services and operations very
close to their chest and do not collaborate easily and our company will need a robust mission and
vision statement to reach through. Another major barrier which has been identified is that the
company’s lack of ethics and diverse servicers such as boxing has made companies like anytime
fitness be sceptical of being part of our network.
Sally: What can we do to improve our ethical standards?
James: What about the network types?
Me: We can do several things to improve our ethical standards and bringing them up to the
industry standards such as making sure that the gym equipment’s are squeaky clean and all
the complaints about hygiene not being followed is countered through strict enforcement.
We must ensure that all the rules and regulations of the gym are being followed tightly. We
must also ensure that your company slowly diversifies the services it includes in its fitness
packages as there is heavy demand for yoga and boxing as alternatives to plain old
exercising. As far as networking is concerned, we will be using a diverse mix of tools and
techniques such as face to face marketing and communication, use of e-mails, we will also
be using conferences and application such as twitch and mixer ton livestream the expo
which will bring in organic viewers and a lot of potential growth for the business.
James: We are thoroughly satisfied with the way in which your company has provided us with
the needed solutions to effectively market our company and use networking opportunities and go
into an interesting direction with the help of an open expo

Sally: I would also like to have a look at the contact lists that we have managed to develop as a
result as being an industry veteran has taught me to focus on practical results.
Me: We have taken the help of industry oriented magazines to develop a detailed contact list of
potential clients which we can turn into customers with proper marketing tactics.
CONCLUSION
The above report served as a speech built for the purpose of a role play oriented presentation
which was built to communicate regarding the result of the networking opportunities identified
and the relationships built for Gymology to their executives and industry veterans. It was
concluded from this report that in order to communicate results effectively, role-play is a very
effective technique and networking should be done using smart technologies and high ethical
standards.
