INTRODUCTION
Habit of successful people helps to transform the life and in the same way, the present
study is also helps to determine the importance of habit within an individual life. The aim of
this report is to let understand about the role of habits such as set goals, tale responsibility etc
within a student life. Further the study will explain three habit such that set goals, great
discipline and risk takers and evaluates why this skills are important for student success.
Further the report will consider another three habit which students need along with its
importance.
Three habits from the article
There are so many habits which a students needs to be followed and some of them are
as mention below:
Set goals is the top most priority of every individual in which a student looking for
success and every individual clearly define what they need. For that a goals and objectives
are set that helps to provide an ability in order to monitor themselves and determine the
progress level too. Therefore, it is analyzed that through goal setting, a student improve the
self-management abilities. MAJUMDAR and et.al., (2018) supported that setting goals gives
a long term vision and short term motivation and thus in turn help to organize the time and
resources that assist to make the most of life. That is why, it is important for the student to
have this habit to become a good person in professional manner.
For example, when a student is able to set gals, it will help them to be accountable for
every action and then make steps further. Like an individual wants to make a career in
Doctor, for that a person need to pass the secondary study and choose a college who support
to attain the define aim. In this way, setting goal and then make actions and efforts with
effective time management skills will help to support them better.
Great self-discipline is another habit which a student must possess because it is a
strongest attribute of many people which encourage them to attain their set goals. Through
this habit, an individual stuck with difficult task and also allow to overcome the obstacles.
That is why, this habit is essential for the students which take them towards success. Jung,
Zhou and Lee (2017) also highlight in the study that through self- discipline a student
improve their academic performance and it is also analyzed that students who are disciplined
are tend to get better scores and perform excellently as compared to their peers. So, education

is also becomes incomplete without discipline and that is why, it is consider as a bridge
between goals and achievement.
For example, through self-discipline habit, a student may easily improve the results
and assist to listen their teacher carefully and understand the whole syllabus as well. Through
discipline, they may easily focus upon their studies and also score better during whole session
while other student do not if they do not possess current skill. Therefore, it is a set of rules
and regulation that keep remind the students regarding to proper code of behavior and keep
them aware to follow the set goals through self- discipline.
Risk takers is the third chosen habit which a student should possess that helps to make
student realize the importance of success. It is stated by Stenlund, Lyrén and Eklöf (2018)
that if there is no risk then there is no reward. That is why, most of the entrepreneur and
leaders are risk takers and they do not hesitate to put everything on line and this is the key
attribute of their success. Therefore, taking risk in order to attain the set goals require courage
to face each and every uncertainty, also they did not concern about the outcomes, but quite
confident because of having this skill. So, practicing risk taking during early age will help
student to feel more comfortable than stepping outside of their comfort zone. Also, taking
risk eliminate the possibility of looking back and this is a step of success.
For example, students set a goal to become an Engineer and to meet the same, it is
necessary to start with a growth mindset and take small steps in order to meet the demand.
Keep encourage themselves in order to generate the best outcome and try to use critical
thinking abilities in order to solve any issues and take risk to accomplish the set goal as well.
Additional three habit which a student needs
Student needs many habit to attain their goals and to become successful in their life.
Some of the habits are as mention below:
Time management is the foremost requirement of every student such that a good time
management skills assist students to prioritize the task in order to manage the school work
and also make assignments on time. Through this skills, they are able to plan ahead and set
aside the time in order to make better use of time. For example, to study all the subject in a
single day, a student need to make planning and use of time which reflect their time
management skills. That is why, a specific slots is identified for each subjects in order to

study entre subject. In this manner, the time management skills is used and this in turn help to
meet their daily aim as well.
Ghiasvand and et.al., (2017) stated that having a good time management skills help to
accomplish the bigger results within a shorter period that leads to more time freedom and also
assist to focus better which allow to be more productive. That is why, it is necessary for the
students to having the skills which in turn assist to attain their target as well.
Stress management is another habit that make students overloaded. Therefore, it is
analyzed that students are one of the most common victims of stress and when they built
overtime, stress lead to cause major issue such as depression, anxiety etc. Hence there is a
need to manage the stress at early level which in turn help to maximize the college experience
and generate the opportunities for students as well. Among students, if they learn how to
manage stress then it lead to improved health and also lead to enhanced self-esteem that leads
to improve the quality of life (Sainz, Ferrero and Ugidos, 2019). For example, stress affect
the emotional intelligence of a students and whenever student face any problem then they
develop stress management skills that leads to manage the work. Or else, try to communicate
the feelings with others in order to generate best solutions.
Work life balance is a good skill which a student required to stay healthy. Such that
having a healthy work-life balance means students will be happier when they attend college
or school. This in turn reduce stress and chances of burnout. Kassymova and et.al., (2018)
also evaluated that this skill, is a key element of student success and it is important topic to
consider while planning for a work. Every student has to manage their study and family and
for that they need to be adjust the life and make changes effectively. For example, during
exams, students need to balance their study and also maintain family relations. For that the
students need to have schedule that helps to maintain the results and this in turn improve the
results as well. Also, identify which task is more prioritize as compared to others and this in
turn improve the overall task in better manner.
Making a study plan is quite important skill for a learner as well as student that helps
to maximize and prioritize the things which are more important. It is also examine that most
of the students do not have an organized study plan and that is why they fails which in turn
affect their study and results. On the other side, it is evaluated by Sirgy and Lee (2018) that if
a student makes well study plan then it increase the study productivity and as a result, attain
better results as well. Also a good study plan helps to increase confidence and competence

which in turn reduce the anxiety level and deadlines. For example, for the one week, student
make a planning according to time which in turn improve the results and this way they use
the study skills in order to feel their work and efforts ore important. Hence, planning out the
time and priorities makes a student helps to keep on a track and meet the set deadline as well.
CONCLUSION
By summing up above report it has been concluded that set goals, great self- disciple
and risk takers are consider an important habit for a student. Such that they assist the student
to attain their success and meet the set target as well. On the other side, there are another four
habits concluded that assist the student to manage the work in effective manner. Such that
through effective time management skills, student manage the work and complete the define
task within a set and prescribe deadline.
