The purpose of the project entitled as “Hamrobazar” is to gather information about the
E-commerce Platform Hamrobazar.com, that helps to buy the right product according to the
specifications which is user friendly simple, fast, and cost-effective. It deals with the collection
of goods/products. The main function of the system is to buy and sell new/used products
according to the preferences of customers. Basically, it’s a link between customer to customer.

1.1 Introduction of the project work
This project provides information obtained through field visits and website analysis regarding the
online electronic store Hamrobazar.com. The report pays particular attention to various services
offered performance, durability, reliability, payment management etc. of the site.
The report is basically prepared for the partial fulfillment of the requirement for the degree of
Bachelor of Business Management (BBM). As our course demands, the report works as a basis
for internal evaluation and viva examination.
E-commerce stands for electronic commerce, which means buying and selling of goods and
services using the internet. The purpose of e-commerce is to allow consumers to shop online and
pay online through the Internet, saving both time and space for customers and enterprises.
The e-commerce industry is gaining wide popularity in Nepal. However, we Nepalese people
are too habituated to shop, even though the website provides us with detailed posts by saying
their products are leaning more towards online shopping sites in Nepal. The products transparent
price listing, ease of getting stuffs delivered when we feel comfortable is rapidly getting in mind
of Nepalese.
Before, buying and selling goods and services used to be done partially through phone calls or
emails. Now, with a single website, transactions can be executed online.
There are five essential categories of e-commerce;

● Business To Customer (B2C)
● Business To Government (B2G)
