Based on the discussed scenario, the different efforts that could be implied by the management
team for achieving operational excellence based on Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) are:
1. There should be a high level of training that would be needed to be provided to the employees
in order to make use of the new system. The new systems would be highly efficient and thus
would require the guidance of the trainers (Campbell & Reyes-Picknell, 2015). They should
include several enhanced patterns based on training. The modules included within the training
sessions should be aligned with the business scenarios and thus should contain each and every
aspect that would be needed to be learnt. This would help the employees in gaining a vast
knowledge about the CPI methodologies and the ways in which these systems would affect the
organisational procedures. The resources that would be required for performing the training are
the dedicated Training Team provided by Alpha (Carson & Raguse, 2014). The training would
last for more than one month. The cost for the training would be set at $ 40,000. The
implementation of the training program would be helpful for the employees to understand the
domain and thus help in implementing the best processes with the help of the new program.
2. A complete research should be made about the products and services that are offered by
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. They should be able to understand about their business
processes and thus explain each intrinsic details to Alpha who would analyze the entire scenario.
Alpha should also conduct a vast amount of market research in order to understand the pre-
existing processes that were implemented within the enterprise (Noe et al., 2017). Based on the
analysis they should be able to design the best kind of strategies based on Continuous Process
Improvement program that would be implemented within the enterprise. The complete research
over the details of the enterprise would be completed within a duration of one month. The
research would be performed by the internal research team at Alpha and the entire cost required
would be $ 60,000.

3. Alpha should also design the program based on Continuous Process Improvement that would
help in improving the experience of customers. They should hence design an advertisement
strategy that would be able to gain the attention of customers. The customers who make use of
the services always expect them to be efficient and easily available (Jeston, 2014). In order to
design better advertisement strategies for the organisation, Alpha should include various
presentations and interactive programs that would be able to attract the attention of other
organisations. This would also help them to collaborate with other companies who would build
various services for the growth (Love et al., 2014). The advertisement of the newly added
services would be performed by the advertisement team at Alpha. The entire costs for the
advertisement and designing of strategies has been estimated at $ 12,000. The entire duration of
completing the event would long for one week.
4. In order to promote their strategies about the newly implementable Continuous Process
Improvement program, Alpha should conduct various social media strategies for promoting the
wellness supported by the program. These social media strategies should be able to map the
future path of the enterprise. The social media strategies that could be included are designing of a
page in any of the social media platform such as Facebook. The marketing team at Alpha should
be able to design another strategies based on promotion of the CPI program before the audience
(Spiess et al., 2014). Based on defining the proper social media strategies, the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania would be able to gain a better market platform. This would also help in
