Question 2
The four reasons are:-
i. The study topic deals with the social support in breastfeeding of adolescent
mothers which is a complicated issue in Indonesia and it needs to be analysed by
studying the interactions, moral and social supports received by the adolescent
mothers for this purpose. Therefore, there is no scope for the researcher to explore
the outcomes of numeric calculations. Rather, the study proceeds through the
analysis of the sources of the social supports (Palupi and Devy, 2018).
ii. There were only seven participants (women) involved in the study who were less
than 20 years older having a baby of 6-12 months old, residents of Sidotopo, and
previously or presently breastfed a baby. It shows that the targeted participants
were smaller. This is a possible reason for the study to be qualitative in nature.
iii. The data collected from the in-depth interviews are non-numeric and collected
through audio and visual output. It represents that the study is qualitative.

iv. The analysis of the data was interpretive and subjective. It required the researcher

Moreover, the requirement is to build a quantitative research hypothesis from that
journal. Building quantitative research hypothesis is an essential criteria for a
deductive research approach. In addition to this, the research hypothesis that are
designed, are capable to explain a relationship between the variables and the concepts
and also capable to build a structural equation model which is an advantage for
deductive approach. Thus, considering a quantitative research hypothesis leads the
research into deductive research approach (Bryman 2016).
iii. A qualitative research question is as follows-

iv. The first step to build an inductive research approach is to construct qualitative
research question. The research question aims to explore new phenomenon on the
research topic. Again, the research question design in 3(iii) is grounded on the basic
theory of the research. Therefore, considering the qualitative research question will
take the research towards inductive research approach (Bryman 2016).

Abstract of the article (b)-
The study aims to measure the action taken in readiness and increase in the
confidence for a primary patients regarding the harmful use of alcohol. It includes
quantitative data analysis and evaluation of the outcomes. The readiness, confidence, and
importance are scored on a 10 point rating scale. After six months of observation, the
result shows that the post primary visit has provided improvements for readiness,
confidence, and importance (Bertholet, Horton and Saitz 2009).
iii. The second journal article provides the most effective evidence. It provides a
quantitative study with numerical outcomes which is more acceptable in case of the
improvements achieved after a primary visit regarding drinking purpose. There has
been clear indication of the prevention of falls for the aged people in the latter article.
However, the former journal article talks about the enhancement in the drinking
culture and revision of the practices required in the social aspect for drinking.
