Human Computer Interaction (HCI)
In this era, human are currently bound with technologies all around. Technology is going so far
by innovating itself. Creating a good computer interface and connecting to real world is
something which can ease human tasks. (Baecker, 2014) In real world, computer system are
proficient in telling us the exact things what we actually need. All it needs is to program those
systems for the specific task. (Fogarty & Baker & Hudson, 2005)Nowadays, HCI has numerous
applications; computer system can be programmed in such a way we can do eye tracking instead
of using mouse, scanning iris to withdrawal money through ATMs, voice recognition interface
which can process the natural language and based on this Amazon has his alexa software which
functions according to user voice, virtual reality is one of the existing technology which gives
user a good experience and teaches us how HCI can be implemented better and better. This
examples show how HCI has brought machines as close to human as possible. (Galletta &
Zhang, 2006)
