INTRODUCTION
This report is based on the reflective writings that will be based on the research about the
skills that are required to be a higher education(HE) learner. This is being done to reflect on the
understanding of own skills and knowledge about how to successfully assess the need of being
an HE learner. The main task of the report is to identify the skills required and to describe the
essentials that can be of a significant help in the carrying out of the tasks assigned. Further, a
critical analysis will be done on the own performance that has been demonstrated by identifying
the required HE skills to improve the same.
MAIN BODY
Identifying and describing the HE skills and explaining why these are important:
The higher education is something that is the most important attribute required in a
student and others to enhance the productivity levels. There are various categories of education
sector, and the higher education is the initiation point of every level. The recent studies have
identified that the most number if institutions are occupied with the higher education learning
programmes (Wald. and et.al., 2019). For proper growth of the young generation, it is very
important to complete the higher education that establishes the criteria for further studies and
related degrees. There is a need to understand as to why such courses and studies are important
before opting for them because these can stimulate the students to diversify their activities to
improvise their required skills (Cheng. and Chan. 2019). The main reason is the necessity that
forces one to have and possess these skills to build up themselves with the help of the higher
educations.
There are various skills that are required by a candidate to prosper in their higher
education and further to be granted with the demanded financial stability and management in the
real world. The very first and important skill is of time management, that is required in each
and every step of the education and learning sector. It is because to adapt with the dynamics of
the education sector that make the students efficient in managing their own time. Time
management can even help in the everyday planning of the activities that is required to schedule
the future tasks (FAKAZLI. 2021). The second can be the communication and interaction
skills that continue to put focus and emphasis on improving the ability to expand themselves
towards a vast and an advanced arena of people and their related elements. In this digital era, the
communication skills are ones that can be evaluated easily on the basis of the required

connection. Whether, online or offline, these can play a significant role in enhancing the
confidence skills. The third skill can be identified as the collaboration skills that are the
elements of teamwork and dependent activities. There has to be the ability to connect and
interact with others to share the opinions and views about a subject matter and to start socializing
within the community (Olaya Mesa. 2018). Reading and interpreting skills are also a part of
the enhancement of the overall activities because these tend to sharpen the reciting skills along
with talking and communicating with some one. Planning and writing essays and to note
down the important topics for future reference also can be of help in forecasting the need of
carrying the required documents to handle the situation with utmost care and sincerity.
From the above mentioned highlights about what are the higher educations and the skills
required to perform these, it was understood by me that how important it is to comply with all
the needs of the skills to improvise the overall productivity levels. Talking about my own skills
and expertise in some of the matters, I must focus on the skills of the HE learner to schedule my
own timings to perform all the tasks. It was understood by me that these skills are not only
required by the HE learner but are also significant for all those who are attached with the
education sector irrespective of their ages. I would always like to enhance my already existing
skills in the education sector that will help me to identify my own growing and lacking areas.
These will further help me to analyse the required knowledge and expertise in my own chosen
field of HE learning. Till now my performance in the field of presenting and formatting the
academics and writing styles, it is very important for me to pay a close attention to the required
philosophy that can be followed by me that will take me towards the development of my overall
higher education skills. It is important to evaluate these skills to analyse the need of the
improvement that is required by me to reach the point of success in every stop of the learning
adventure. In accordance with my now considered skills, it can be further evaluated that my
personal and professional skills can be further enhanced if I start working on them now only to
protect and secure my chances to succeed in all the relevant growth opportunities I might face on
the course of action. The main motive is to expand the professional competency in this digital era
to gain and improve the skills with education and experience in a certain chosen field. Critical
thinking and the ability to adapt changes in the learning procedure is very essential to become
effective and efficient in the oral as well as the written assessment.

Interpretation of the VARK model:
The assessment and the test on the VARK model was conducted and it was analysed that
visual learners are the most favourable ones in this sector with the help of the learning methods.
This is because the students learn better when they are taught with the visual representation of
anything.
CONCLUSION
The above report on the HE skills helped in the development of overall productivity
levels of a student. These are essential for the development of the competency levels that are
prevailing in the digital era. It was even mentioned that how can these be enhanced to manage
the formed schedule of activities that is required by a student to ensure success rates. This
assures a student to develop their own performance rates in the education sector and the need to
adopt these skills effectively.
