Introduction
Physical movement or exercise can improve your wellbeing and diminish the danger of
building up of a few illnesses and wounds. Physical movement and exercise can have prompt and
long-term health advantages. In particular, exercising regularly can improve a person’s
satisfaction1.
A human body is similar to like a car. If a person drives a car 24x7, then the car will
slowly start to show several machinery problems, which will cost a lot to repair. Similarly, if a
person constantly works and does not take time to rest and do some physical exercises, then the
person will start showing health issues and will occasionally get muscle injuries like cramps.
This article will discuss about the importance of head rolling exercise and what may fall upon a
person if the exercise is done improperly1.
Head circles or Head rolling exercise
The head rolling is a very effective exercise. It helps in fortifying the muscles that
maintain the spinal cord. It will likewise assist with keeping the back and chest area stable.
Keeping these muscles solid can calm back agony and forestall further damage. This exercise is
very important for the cervical spine and trapezius muscles. To do this exercise the head should
be slowly turned from left to right or leaned from side to side. It is significant to extend the
muscles which are being fortified to improve the movement of that body part and forestalling
damage. Smoothly and properly doing stretching exercises after the physical activities can help
to prevent the inflammation of the muscles and improve the durability and stability of the
muscles2.

Though this exercise should be avoided as a small mistake can cause strain on the
ligaments and hamper the stability in the neck region. This exercise can exaggerate and cause
pain due to the impingement of the nerves. Stretching of the neck can also cause strain on the
anterior arteries2.
Conclusion
To do the head rolling exercise it is necessary to properly align the head, neck and
shoulders. While doing this exercise, it is necessary to keep in mind that the shoulders are not
shrugged. Thus, it can be concluded that physical exercises are beneficial to health, but it should
be done in a proper manner, and if possible should be done under a proper guidance to avoid
injuries; since injuries can be fatal and might not treated2.
